1. Preparation of black sesame seeds
Generally speaking, we can buy a pound of black sesame seeds. Don't beat too much black sesame powder at a time, and make it after eating. After we bought the black sesame seeds, we washed them several times with clean water and then drained them for later use.
2. Stir-fry black sesame seeds
We put the drained black sesame seeds in a pan, turn on low heat, and slowly stir-fry the black sesame seeds. Remember not to use high heat, it is easy to scorch the surface of the black sesame seeds on the high fire, if so, the black sesame paste after beating will taste bitter. It's actually very simple for us to see if the black sesame seeds are fried. We can observe that the black sesame seeds become bulging, and then we can eat a few pieces, if they taste crunchy, it means that the black sesame seeds are fried.
3. Stir-fry glutinous rice flour
The function of glutinous rice flour is to put the black sesame seeds together when the powder is beaten in the next step, so as to prevent the black sesame seeds from forming clumps in the process of beating. Sticky rice is generally sold readily available in the market. We buy a pack and come back, generally a pound of black sesame seeds can be put in 200 grams of glutinous rice flour. We also put the glutinous rice flour in the pan and stir-fry. Also use low heat, as long as you see the glutinous rice flour is fried to a slight yellow.
4. Beat the black sesame seeds
We pour the fried black sesame seeds and glutinous rice flour into the food processor, and at this step, it is important to note that the glutinous rice flour and black sesame seeds should be stirred well before beating. You can pour the black sesame seeds and glutinous rice flour into a small basin, then stir well with a spoon before pouring into the food processor. Or pour a portion of black sesame seeds into a blender, then a portion of glutinous rice flour, and repeat until all of them are poured into the blender. Then cover the blender and shake evenly. It's up to you to see what makes it convenient for you!
After the black sesame powder is beaten, it is best to store it in a clean and dry container, I use a glass bottle. It is not recommended to use a plastic bag, because black sesame powder will clump if it is stored in a plastic bag for a long time. And it's not easy to scoop when you want to eat. When brewing, everyone can put some sugar. Black sesame seeds are relatively oily, so it is not recommended to eat more if you are usually prone to diarrhea.
