The most direct pathogenesis of rhinitis is that the lung qi does not fall, and the pressure is reversed. The lungs are open to the nose, and the normal movement of lung qi directly affects the function of the nose. The lungs are supposed to infuse a part of the essence into the nasal orifice to maintain the normal function of the nose, if this part of the qi is not sufficient, or the quality is not good, it will affect the function of the nose, some people are born without smelling the smell, and the sensitivity to the smell is not the same between different people.
Especially in the early stage of a cold, some people can survive by sneezing a few times, while people with poor resistance will keep sneezing, and then they can experience the feeling of inflammation in the soft palate, which is the process of the invasion of evil qi. These are all caused by congenital lung qi deficiency, which can be regarded as normal reactions, and cannot be said to be diseases. However, if there is too much qi in the nasal passages, it will not work, and the nose will be blocked if there is too much.
However, if the lungs themselves are full of energy, even if they are affected by the outside world and have a temporary reversal of the lung qi, they will soon be able to adjust themselves, and after the cold, the function of the nose will return to normal. Some people can't do it, the lungs are relatively at a disadvantage in the five organs, anyone can bully it, whether it is an internal cause or an external cause, if there is a wind and grass, the lungs will suffer first. The lungs are already too busy to take care of themselves, and as soon as they are disturbed, they will rise and fall abnormally, so they will commit rhinitis, and it is not easy to get better.
In my opinion, the most essential cause of rhinitis is the deficiency of lung qi, and the further reason is that it is interfered by other organs or external evils, because the main surface of the lungs, the main breath is the organ that directly deals with the outside world, and the most direct reason is that the lung qi does not fall, and it is suppressed and reversed. In other words, no matter what the cause is, the upward reversal of lung qi may lead to rhinitis. Note that I'm using the word maybe.
It should be added that rhinitis is caused by the upward reversal of lung qi, but the upward reversal of lung qi is not necessarily manifested as rhinitis, and there are also a lot of wheezing. This is the degree of upward reversal and the specific path is not the same. Let's not expand on these medical theories that go around in circles, let's look at the treatment first.
Point points to treat rhinitis
Rhinitis is a very common disease, and the proportion of cases is very high (maybe seventy or eighty percent)! It's just a difference in severity.
Although this is not a serious disease, the medical effect is not obvious, and it is lingering and difficult to heal, which brings a lot of inconvenience to life. From the perspective of the meridians, all diseases have a key acupuncture point (organ). This method can be used by everyone, it does not cost anything, and the results are fast!
Specifically, I point to the "Shaoshang" acupoint of the Lung Meridian and the "Dadun" acupoint of the Liver Meridian once or twice a day, for a few minutes each time, and persist for a period of time.
Recently, I have been teaching this method to several colleagues, and the results have been very remarkable, in their words, "tried and tested", so I have made this method public so that it can benefit more patients. According to the patient's description, there will be a large amount of nasal discharge during the acupuncture point, and then he will feel like he is breathing freely. Explaining this principle from the perspective of TCM is actually quite simple:
. "The nose is the key to the lungs", and the Shaoshang acupoint discharges the lungs
In traditional Chinese medicine, the so-called "nose is the hole of the lungs", rhinitis is generally caused by wind and cold, which leads to depression and sluggishness of lung qi. The five elements of the lungs belong to gold, "Jin Yu Kaizhi" or "Actually discharged", and the most effective way to vent lung qi is the Shaoshang acupoint at the end of the lung meridian, where the Taiyin lung meridian intersects with the Yangming large intestine meridian, and the lung qi can be vented to the large intestine meridian (this is where it should go).
. "The liver is the organ of the wind and wood", and the Dadun acupoint dispels the wind
Since it is the wind cold, it needs to dispel the wind and dispel the cold. "The liver is the organ of the wind and wood", so the wind evil is generally responsible for the liver. The Dadun acupoint of the liver meridian has the effect of "soothing the liver and warming the liver", soothing the liver can dispel wind, and warming the liver can dissipate cold. Moreover, the liver is the main qi machine, and the qi depression actually needs to be drained of the liver meridian, which is a matter of course.
Tools for acupuncture: The tools for acupuncture can be made by yourself: find a bamboo chopstick, grind the head into a smooth hemispherical shape the size of a mung bean, or you can find a ready-made plastic or something like that, in short, the head needs to be smooth, and it is advisable to be a hemispherical shape the size of a mung bean.
However, there is one thing to be reminded of beforehand:
It will be very painful when you click on the acupuncture points! As much as you can tolerate, you need to grit your teeth and persevere. In traditional Chinese medicine, the so-called "if it is not passed, it will be painful, and if it is not painful", if there is a pain reaction at a certain acupuncture point, it means that the acupuncture point is not passed, and the more severe the pain, the more serious the blockage. After insisting on the acupuncture points for a period of time, the pain of the acupuncture points is reduced, which means that a part of the acupuncture points has been dredged, and the disease has been reduced.
According to the causes of rhinitis that I have described, the treatment ideas and specific methods are also different. First of all, the most convenient and fast way is to regulate the rise and fall of the body's qi machine, and go up against the lungs and down obediently. I recommend a series of small prescriptions for treating rhinitis by Huang Yuanyu, a famous doctor in the Qing Dynasty.

The above is converted to the current unit of measurement g according to the dosage of the original book, if I use it, it will also adjust the amount between each drug according to the specific situation, but even if it is not adjusted, according to the ratio of the original prescription, the effect is also good.
My own rhinitis was originally cured with the first prescription, addition and subtraction. Later, according to the first two deeper causes of rhinitis, I took a few medicines to tonify lung qi and regulate other viscera, and rhinitis never happened again.
Huang Yuanyu's prescription is very easy to use, and the small prescription only has a few flavors of medicine, most of which are ordinary medicines, and the medicinal properties are peaceful, and they look inconspicuous, but they can often cure the disease. Because Huang deeply understands the principle of the lifting of the human body's qi machine, and knows that the orderly lifting of the qi machine will eliminate all diseases invisibly.
