Today, I will use pumpkin to make [pumpkin hair cake], which is fluffy, soft, fragrant and sweet, so delicious!
[Ingredients] 250 grams of pumpkin puree, 250 grams of flour, 4 grams of yeast, 1 egg, 20 grams of sugar, 6 red dates, 1 handful of dried grapes (the last three items forgot to shoot)
【Directions】
Peel and slice the pumpkin, put it in a pot and steam it in boiling water for 10 minutes, let it cool and press it into a pumpkin puree, then add the sugar to the pumpkin puree and stir well.
Pumpkin itself has a sweet taste, and if you want to eat it a little sweeter, you can increase the amount of sugar.
Then put the flour, yeast, eggs and pumpkin puree together into a batter, stir well, until there is no dry flour, the batter is sticky, and it is more convenient to stir with a spatula.
Find a container, brush it with a layer of oil, pour in a layer of batter, dip it in water with a spatula and flatten it, then spread a layer of grapes, and pour in another layer of batter.
Generally, the batter can be put halfway into the container, flattened with water with a spatula, let it rise naturally until it is flush with the container, and then put a layer of red dates and press it slightly.
The spatula is dipped in water to prevent sticking. The temperature is high, and it usually takes about 15 minutes to ferment, so pay attention to it. The container is brushed with oil to facilitate demoulding.
Put the batter in the steamer and steam on high heat for half an hour.
After cooling, remove the mold, pour it out, cut it into small pieces, and you can eat. It's fluffy and sweet, it's so delicious! Especially when you eat dried grapes and red dates, it is even more delicious.
I made it in the evening, and the child actually ate another piece of fat cake after eating.
Repeat the same process to steam the rest of the batter. Don't worry about what to eat for breakfast.
Tips:
1. After the pumpkin is steamed, there is more water, so you can pour out some of the steamed water first, and then press it into pumpkin puree.
2. Dried raisins can also be added directly when stirring the batter, so that you can eat more dried raisins.
3. The batter is generally placed in half of the container, because the batter will grow taller after fermentation, and if you pour too much, it will overflow.
4. The time for evaporating the cake should be sufficient, and if the batter is put into a larger container, the steaming time should be extended to prevent the middle steaming from being undercooked.
