All ingredients: 2 carrots, 1 tablespoon of honey, 3 tablespoons of potato starch

Step 1: Peel off the carrots, then shred the roots, then wash them, put them on a plate and set aside.

Step 2: Remove from the pot, add an appropriate amount of water to the pot, wait for the water to boil, pour the shredded carrots into the pot, blanch for about 1 minute, remove the supercooled water, then control the moisture, and set aside.

Step 3: Put the shredded carrots in an empty basin, add a spoonful of honey, and then stir the shredded carrots well with your hands and set aside.

Step 4: Add three tablespoons of potato starch to the plate, then knead into the shape of dough and roll into slightly stiffer strips for later use.

Step 5: After rolling into hard strips, then change the knife and cut into uniform thick slices for later use.

Step 6: Start the steamer, add an appropriate amount of water to the pot, first spread the steamer cloth in the steamer, then place the cut carrot slices in the steamer, steam on high heat for about 10 minutes, and set aside.

Step 7: After steaming, turn off the heat and simmer for about 5 minutes, and then serve to the table. This steamed carrot crystal cake is ready, crystal clear, soft and glutinous and sweet, specializing in the treatment of picky eaters!

Tips:

After blanching the carrots, remember to drain the water and add potato starch, because too much water will affect the amount of potato starch!
