100 grams of rhubarb rice, 30-40 grams of brown sugar, 50-60 grams of starch, 150 grams of water, 300 grams of honey red beans.
Cooking steps:

Put 60 grams of starch in a bowl, add 150 grams of water, and stir evenly in one direction to form a thin paste, without dry starch granules.
The starch here is not limited to any one, cornstarch, potato starch, and sweet potato starch are all OK.
Pour the starch paste into a non-stick pan, heat it over medium-low heat, stir it constantly after boiling, change to low heat and continue to heat to prevent the starch from condensing into a lump sticking to the bottom of the pot after heating, stir until it is jelly, turn off the heat, and then pour it into the 300 grams of honey red beans prepared in advance, and stir well.
Since honey red beans are sweet, there is no need to add sugar, if you feel that the sweetness of honey red beans is not enough, you can add a little brown sugar. Directly cooked red beans are also OK, and an appropriate amount of brown sugar should be added to add some sweetness.
If you don't want to eat starch, there is a way, then it is simpler, and it is okay not to cook starch paste, but the layer of honey red beans should be spread thinner to prevent the whole honey bean yellow rice cake from falling apart.
Take a suitable mold, use an oil brush to evenly brush a layer of cooking oil at the bottom and all around, be sure to brush evenly, this is the key to easy demoulding, it is best to use odorless vegetable oil, first spread half of the mixed rhubarb rice at the bottom, spread all the honey red beans in the middle, spread it evenly and press it firmly, and finally spread the remaining half of the rhubarb rice evenly, the surface is smooth, and if you don't like to eat cold, you can start eating at this time.
