Soak the jujube in warm water for one to two hours
Stir 10g of sugar in 40g of boiling water until melted
Pour in 50 grams of glutinous rice flour
Knead the dough with the appropriate ratio of water to flour and cover with a lid to prevent air drying.
While the face is rising, wash out the jujubes
Incision, slowly from both sides of the nucleus and then downward, carefully removing the core, being careful not to cut completely, the underside is connected.
Divide the dough into three or four portions, gently knead it and cut it into small pieces about the same length as the jujube
Put the glutinous rice filling into the red dates, the red jujubes, and the white glutinous rice filling look good together.
Place in a steamer, cover and steam for about ten minutes.
Some people like to stew in rock sugar water, I also tried it once, compared to steamed, it is delicious, but the stew is fuller and crystalline, and the water is more sufficient. Affected by the red color of the jujube skin, the glutinous rice filling is also dyed not so white.
Food Tips:
1. The proportion of ingredients in the recipe is just right, and the filling of my bag is moderate, not too little and not too much. I chose a larger one from Xinjiang gray dates, and if you take it at will, prepare 30 enough.
2. Suitable for friends who like glutinous rice products, the elderly and children are best to eat in the morning or noon, and try not to eat at night, after all, glutinous rice flour is not easy to digest.
3. The glutinous rice flour must be heated with water, so that the kneaded dough will not crack.
