Don't steam the steamed buns with flour anymore, cut everything, roll it with both hands, and the soft and multi-layered flower roll will be ready

Today I made a flower roll with full color and flavor, which is really delicious and nutritious, let's take a look at the method.

First of all, prepare: 1000 grams of all-purpose flour, 500 grams of warm water, 30 grams of sugar, 5 grams of yeast, 30 grams of salt, an appropriate amount of five-spice powder, an appropriate amount of corn oil, an appropriate amount of chopped green onions, and an appropriate amount of diced ham.

In the first step, add sugar, yeast, and salt to the flour (put 5 grams, and put the rest later), stir well, add warm water in batches, stir with chopsticks while pouring, stir into a flocculent, and then knead into a smooth dough.

The second step is to knead the dough, cover it with plastic wrap, put it in a warm place, and ferment it to twice the size.

In the third step, after fermentation, we knead the dough on the panel, exhaust the air, arrange it into long strips, divide it into eight dough pieces, and arrange each dough into a circle.

The fourth step is to take a dough, roll it out into a pancake with a rolling pin, brush it with a layer of corn oil, sprinkle an appropriate amount of five-spice powder and salt, sprinkle with a layer of chopped green onions and diced ham, roll it from one end to the other, and roll it slightly with a rolling pin.

The fifth step is to use a knife to cut the rolled cake into six long strips, do not cut the two ends, cut it from the middle, divide it into two halves, and weave it up like a braid, pinch one end and roll it up, and press the other end underneath, and do it all in turn.

Step 6: Heat water in a pot, put the cooked rice on the curtain, cover the lid, and let it sit for 10 minutes. After the food is ready, turn on the fire and boil the water, turn to medium heat and steam for 15 minutes, turn off the heat and simmer for 5 minutes, open the lid, and the steaming big flower roll will come out of the pot.

This big flower roll is both beautiful and delicious, soft and multi-layered, and it is not enough for the whole family to eat after steaming once. After the flower roll I made is steamed, the chives are also green, which is a little trick, in the chopped green onions, add a little baking soda, it will not turn yellow, but don't add too much, the amount will directly turn rust color.
