There are as many pain points as there are symptoms

Traffic jams are often in the same place on city roads every day, and at this point, daily traffic jams seem to have become commonplace. In the same way, there are also such traditional blockages on the meridians, but there is a strange phenomenon in these blockages, and our bodies usually do not experience their existence.

According to self-practice and research, there are 2~3 such reaction points on each meridian, which are mostly distributed near the elbow, knee, wrist and ankle joints.

What are the pain points?

We probe the meridians, promote the meridian qi to move passively, and the resulting meridian qi begins to hit the blockage points of the meridians, and those blockages will produce pain, soreness, swelling and other sensations during the impact process, and the more vigorous the meridian qi and the more serious the blockage, the stronger the meridian pain will be, and even unbearable.

For example, the function of the large intestine is normal, and the reaction of the Hegu acupoint is only a slight feeling of soreness, and when the intestinal function changes, or the stool is abnormal, the Hegu acupoint will have a strong pain.

Therefore, when the meridians are blocked or the function of the viscera is abnormal, that is, when the body has just been slightly ill, each meridian has one or several acupuncture points that have abnormal reactions first, of course, these reactions must be through the meridian exploration technique to show up: the original painless place hurts; Where it hurts, it hurts now; The acupuncture points that usually do not respond have a feeling of soreness. In addition, if these blocking points do not use probing methods, they will not respond in normal times.

Self-meridian exploration and dredging techniques

Meridian grooming is mainly based on three techniques: knocking, point kneading, and palm kneading.

1. Knocking method:

Hold an empty fist, mostly with the metacarpophalangeal joints of the little fingers, and perform rhythmic light tapping (90 times/minute) along the meridian line from top to bottom, which is often used for meridian dredging of the limbs.

The action point of the knocking method is relatively concentrated, effectively dredging the blocked meridians and guiding the qi and blood to run in the meridians.

The direction of exploration is generally in accordance with the direction of the meridians from top to bottom, there is no particularly strict instructions, as long as you feel comfortable and relaxed during the operation, and the personal experience is more natural and comfortable when the meridians are sorted out from top to bottom.

The operation should be gentle, not the harder the more painful, the purpose of grooming is to make the pneumatic up, if there is a problem with the meridians, gently stimulate, the body will get up to work.

Usually we don't pay attention to caring about the body and the meridians, so the meridian qi is also lying there and the enthusiasm for work is not high, once the stimulation of the technique, the meridian qi will be active, and take the initiative to pass through the blocked place, thus producing abnormal feelings.

2. Point kneading method:

Touch the skin with the threaded surface of the thumb, fix a point, and rub the rotation point to stimulate the deep layer of the acupuncture points (120 circles/min), this method is suitable for the exploration of the thin parts of the skin of the hands, feet, wrists and ankles, which is both a guiding technique and a grooming technique.

3. Palm kneading method:

Touch the skin with the palm root, fix a point, and rotate and knead to stimulate the deep layer of the acupuncture points (90 circles/minute), this method is suitable for the grooming of the muscles of the limbs.

Precautions: When the meridians are groomed, the shoulder joint naturally sags, the wrist should be relaxed, and the metacarpophalangeal joint is driven by the shaking of the wrist. Therefore, you can practice the wrist swing method for a period of time before the operation, and then tap it after the wrist can be relaxed.

A common reaction when probing meridians

The twelve meridians of the human body are symmetrical, but most people's acupuncture point reactions are not symmetrical. A very small number of people have the same feeling on both sides of the acupuncture points, some people have obvious feelings on one side of the acupuncture points, and some people have feelings on both sides but the degree is inconsistent.

The first time you give yourself a meridian grooming to be mentally prepared, some blockages with a few taps with the metacarpophalangeal joints will have the pain of drilling, after the grooming of the local muscles may also be red, swollen and bruised, may also be sha, and may also affect the movement, these are the normal reactions produced by the impact of meridian qi on the blockages, and you can be gentler when kneading and grooming next time.

During the exploration, when the pain in the meridian acupoints is obvious (even stinging), it shows that the qi and blood are relatively vigorous at this time, and most of them are real symptoms; When the acupuncture points are mainly acid, and the heart feels comfortable when tapped, there is a lack of qi and blood in this meridian, which is more common in the elderly.

The body's reaction after clearing the meridians

If you are weak, don't drain all 12 meridians for the first time.

Our body due to long-term blockage of the meridians, once dredged, qi and blood will take the initiative to work, the twelve meridians need a lot of qi and blood at the same time, and the body's capital (qi and blood) is insufficient, the result will make the body sleepy and weak, people who do not know the reason will definitely think that the meridians and grooming make the body have problems, and they are afraid not to insist and give up.

Therefore, to clear the meridians, you should first dredge 3-5 meridians according to your physical condition, and then adjust them appropriately according to the reaction.

There are also people in the period of care, there will be cold, fatigue and other phenomena, may be the body's self-regulation in the recovery of the reaction, generally observed for 3-5 days, if the situation is aggravated, need to consult a professional Chinese medicine practitioner.

How to know that the meridians have been opened

1. The flesh on the body does not feel pain when pinched

The easiest way to check if the meridians are clear is to pinch the flesh on your own body to see if it hurts. In particular, the position of the three focal points on the outside of the arm and the small intestine meridian, or the flesh on the thigh, can be easily and clearly felt.

2. There is obvious overbleeding

Some friends don't understand what is called the phenomenon of blood, many people may have such feelings, you hold the wrist of the other hand with one hand, you must hold it tightly, when a minute or so, you will see that the palm of the wrist is gradually from red, to white, and when you suddenly let go, you will feel a hot flow has been rushing to the tip of the finger, and at the same time the palm will also change from white, to red, this phenomenon is called blood, indicating that your meridians are open.

So, for the palms, it's easy for you to learn about the phenomenon of overbleeding, but if you have blood in your lower limbs, do you have hemogenesis in your feet? This is not easy to do, many friends have cold hands and feet, indicating that your qi and blood are very bad, and you can't reach the end of your limbs.

So how do you know if your lower limbs have blood?

Then ask someone else to help, press your femoral artery, and then for about a minute, let go of your hand and see if your blood can rush to the tips of your toes? In the best case, it can rush to the tips of the toes, and the feeling of blood is in the shape of a barrel, and the front and back legs are passed together. But many people can't cross their knees, but all such people need to open up your meridians.

Some friends may have asked, where is the femoral artery you are talking about? It's not easy to find, and if you're lying flat and pressing your fingers a little harder on your groin, you should be able to feel a throbbing sensation in one place, like you feel the pulse on your hand, and that's your femoral artery.

If the blood sensation after pressing the femoral artery is barrel-shaped and can reach the toes, it means that your meridians are very open. Otherwise, you need to open up the meridians through massage.

3. Rubbing the feet will heat up

Pressing the femoral artery, mainly to test the condition of your foot three yin meridians and three yang meridians, there will be a significant feeling of overbleeding. If you want to focus on testing the condition of the pulse and bladder meridian, then you have to use the technique of rubbing the eight hips. The so-called Eight Hips is a collective name for the eight acupuncture points. That is, the middle and lower hips last time, distributed on the left and right bladder meridians, let's take a look at the position of the eight hips first.

The Huiyang acupoints of the bladder meridian are in turn the lower hip, the middle hip, the second hip and the upper hip, which are symmetrical on the left and right, a total of eight.

Many people who have never done a massage, the meridians are generally not passed, not only in the femoral artery, there is no feeling of blood, there is no feeling of hot feet, most people only have hot buttocks, better knees can be hot, and the best is the feet can be hot. The method of rubbing the eight hips is to use the palm of the hand to quickly rub the eight hips to stimulate the bladder meridian and the Du pulse. It's just a feeling of heat, not blood.
