Pain in the cervical spine, dizziness, nausea? Massage 3 acupuncture points to activate the meridians and prevent cervical spondylosis!

Cervical spondylosis is very common in our lives, it used to often occur in middle-aged and elderly people, with the increasing number of "bowed heads" now, the age of onset of cervical spondylosis is gradually younger, in addition to the cause of external forces, basically related to irregular sitting posture and occupation. Therefore, we must first pay attention to changing bad habits, do not be a "bowed head", and often do some neck exercises. For example, head and hand fighting, shrugging shoulders, etc., pay attention to the amplitude when doing it, and the speed should be slow.

Traditional Chinese medicine believes that there is another internal cause of cervical spondylosis, insufficient liver blood, deterioration of liver and kidney function, blood and qi can not circulate smoothly, and muscles can not be well nourished, thus causing cervical spondylosis. Finger numbness, neck and back pain, dizziness, vomiting, weakness in the limbs, and even rapid heartbeat and blurred vision may occur.

For cervical spondylosis that is not particularly serious, we can use acupressure massage, which can well relieve the discomfort of the cervical spine and prevent it from progressing to more serious aspects.

The following Su Mu will introduce you to three acupuncture points, which are often pressed, which have the effect of dredging the meridians and reducing pain.

1. Wind Pond Cave

The Fengchi point is on the neck, under the occipital bone, at the level of the Fengfu point, in the depression between the sternocleidomastoid muscle and the upper end of the trapezius muscle.

Traditional Chinese medicine says that "the leader of the wind pool" is because the wind pool acupoint can treat most of the wind diseases, and rubbing the wind pool acupoint can effectively relieve cervical spondylosis, external wind cold, headache caused by internal and external wind evil, and neck fatigue caused by long-term work with the head down.

Press the thumb and fingertips on the Fengchi acupoint to make the acupuncture point feel sore, rotate and press it, or pinch the index finger and thumb on the two Fengchi acupoints respectively to carry out the pinching action.

Every time you bow your head to work at the desk for a long time, or look down at your mobile phone, press and rub the Fengchi acupoint for 5 minutes, which can improve blood circulation in the brain, clear your mind, and eliminate the symptoms of headache and dizziness.

2. Large vertebral acupoints

The large vertebral point is below the neck, and the depression under the spinous process of the seventh cervical vertebra has the effect of dispelling wind and dissipating cold, and invigorating blood circulation.

The index finger and middle finger are pressed firmly on the large vertebral points, applying a certain amount of force, rotating and kneading, for 3 minutes each time.

3. Shoulder well point

The shoulder well point is at the midpoint of the line between the large vertebral point and the acromial end, which has the effect of channeling and relieving pain, invigorating blood and improving qi. Rubbing the shoulder well points can relieve symptoms such as shoulder soreness, lightheadedness, and stiff neck.

When kneading, first use the index finger, middle finger and ring finger of the left hand to press on the shoulder well point of the right shoulder, press and knead for 3 minutes each time, and then change to the right hand to press and rub the shoulder well point of the left shoulder.

Generally, people with neck dysfunction will have obvious soreness, and the shoulder will be much easier after rubbing.

Patients with cervical spondylosis should avoid maintaining a position for a long time in their daily life, do not lift heavy objects, and sleep in a supine position instead of sleeping on their stomachs. If your cervical spondylosis has seriously affected your work and study, it is recommended to go to the hospital for examination and cooperate with the doctor for treatment, so as not to delay the condition.
