Deng Tietao, a master of traditional Chinese medicine, once said: Baduanjin is an excellent traditional Chinese health care exercise. The ancients compared this set of actions to eight horses of silk and satin, so it was called "Baduan Brocade".
The advantage of Baduanjin is that there are fewer actions and more effects, to what extent? Count casually, it is more than a dozen functions, regulating the whole body's viscera. The so-called movement is the birth of yang, yang to metamorphosis, 8 actions are practiced regularly, can dredge the meridians, dissolve and dissolve stasis, increase strength and calcium, protect jin and invigorate qi, reduce fat and blood pressure, smooth qi and blood, soothe muscles and soft body, strengthen the body and increase intelligence, from top to bottom in turn to regulate the heart and lungs, spleen and stomach, liver and gallbladder, kidney and genitourinary system.
1. Support Tianli Sanjiao with both hands
Stand upright, feet apart, shoulder-width apart. The arms naturally hang down to the sides, and then slowly raise from the left and right sides to the top of the head, the fingers of the two hands are crossed, turn the palms, the palms are facing upwards as if supporting the sky, and at the same time tiptoe the two heels, and then put the two arms down to recover, while the two heels lightly touch the ground. And so on and so forth. If combined with breathing, inhale deeply when lifting and exhale deeply when recovering.
Function: Lengthen the spine, strengthen the shoulder muscles, regulate qi and blood, and stabilize mood.
2. Open the bow left and right like shooting eagles
Stand upright, take a big step with your left foot, and squat down in a horseback riding pose. Cross your arms in front of your chest, with your right arm on the outside and your left arm on the inside, look at your left hand, then make a fist with your left hand, your index finger up, your thumb straight and your index finger stretched out. Then the left arm is pushed out to the left and straightened, the head is turned to the left, and the left index finger is seen, and the right hand is clenched into a fist, and the arm is stretched flat to the right in the form of a bow. After the movement is restored, the left and right sides are reversed, and the repetition is repeated several times. If you breathe in tandem, inhale when you stretch your arms and draw your bow, and exhale when you recover.
Function: It can reduce symptoms such as chest tightness and shoulder and neck pain.
3. Regulate the spleen and stomach alone
Stand upright, feet apart, shoulder-width apart. The right hand is raised up, the five fingers are tight, the palm is up, the fingertips are to the right, and the left hand is pressed down, the palm is down, and the fingertips are forward. After the movement is restored, the two hands are repeated alternately, repeatedly, if it is combined with breathing, lift up and down to inhale on time, and exhale when recovering.
Function: Enhance the function of the spleen and stomach, improve the symptoms of excessive gastric acid, cold hands and feet or sore limbs.
4. Look backwards with five labors and seven injuries
Stand upright, feet apart, shoulder-width apart. Place your palms close to your legs, and then slowly look your head to the left and right to look back. At the same time, you should breathe in when you look back and exhale when you recover.
Function: Alleviate stiffness of shoulders and neck, stiff neck and other symptoms, suitable for office workers who sit in the office for a long time.
5. Shake your head and tail to get angry
The feet are spread apart, about three soles apart, and the knees are bent and half-squatted into a riding position. With your hands open, your mouth facing inward, you can hold the front of your thighs. The head and upper body are bent forward, then the waist is turned in a circle, and after a few turns, the waist is turned in the opposite direction.
While turning your waist, swing your hips appropriately. If you breathe in tandem, inhale as you turn your waist and exhale as you recover.
Function: Remove heart fire, avoid acne, pimples, nosebleeds, irritable mood and other conditions. Suitable for office workers who have a sedentary office. The action is more complex and can be done within your ability.
6. Climb the feet with both hands to strengthen the kidney and waist
Stand upright, feet together, knees outstretched, upper body leaning forward, hands on toes, head slightly raised. Then return to an upright position with both hands in fists against both sides of the lumbar spine, and slowly lean back your upper body before returning to an upright position. Repeat several times. This pose uses natural breathing.
Function: It stretches the rectus abdominis muscle and the meridians on the inside of the feet, and massages the kidneys through the heat of the hands. If you can't hold your toes with both hands, you don't have to force it.
7. Gather fists and anger to increase strength
Bend your knees with your legs apart and place your hands in fists at your waist, with the center of your fist facing upwards. The left fist is slowly struck forward, the right arm is straight, the fist is downward, the eyes are wide open, and the tiger is looking forward. Then retract your left fist and strike your right fist in the same way, alternating left and right. If you breathe in tandem, exhale when punching and inhale when you close your fist.
Function: Gather strength to exhale the turbid qi in the body, and the shoulder muscles will naturally stretch, which can increase the strength.
8. Behind the scenes, there are many troubles
Stand upright, feet together, palms close to the sides of the legs, knees straight, heels together, a few inches off the ground, and raise your head at the same time to make a full-body lift.
Then gently heel on the ground to recover, repeat. If combined with breathing, inhale as the heel lifts and exhale as the heel touches.
Function: It has the function of refreshing the mind, and can also relieve symptoms such as bladder weakness, hemorrhoids and uterine prolapse.
