Cataract is an ophthalmic disease with opacity of the lens of the eye as the main symptom, including congenital and acquired. Among them, acquired cataract is closely related to body aging, metabolic abnormalities, accidental injuries, etc. Massaging many acupuncture points on the eyes, such as eye light, bamboo, wind pool, etc., can help reduce intraocular pressure and help the eyes get a good rest, thereby preventing the occurrence or deterioration of cataracts. The massage of Guangming acupoint and Taichong acupoint is conducive to promoting blood circulation and helping the eyes relieve cataract symptoms. In addition, the liver has a close relationship with the eyes, and regular massage of the liver and Yu acupoints can make the eyes brighter and more energetic.
Symptoms of cataracts

Special acupuncture points for the treatment of cataracts: Zhuzhu acupoint, Jingming acupoint, Fengchi acupoint, Liver Yu acupoint, Guangming acupoint, Taichong acupoint
How to take the acupoints
Bamboo point: The bamboo point is located on the face, the inner edge of the eyebrows is hollowed (when the eyebrows are sunken, the supraorbital notch). The patient should be asked to sit upright or lie on his back when taking the acupoint.
Eye-Ming acupoint: The eye-ming point is located on the inside of the eye, slightly above the inner corner of the eye. (i.e., on the face, in a depression slightly above the medial canthal angle.) )
Feng Chi Point: Feng Chi Point is located in a one-inch depression in the hairline on both sides of the back of the head and the back of the occipital. Simple acupoint extraction method: the thumb and middle finger are naturally placed on both sides of the occipital bone, and gently slided, and there are two obvious depressions in the back occipital area that are Fengchi acupoints.
Liver Yu acupoint: The liver Yu point is located next to the back spine of the human body, under the spinous process of the ninth thoracic vertebra, and the tendon contraction (Du pulse) is two fingers wide.
Guangming acupoint: The Guangming acupoint is located on the outside of the lower leg of the human body, when the tip of the outer malleolus is 5 inches, the anterior edge of the fibula.
Taichong acupoint: Taichong acupoint is located on the dorsal side of the foot, in the connection of the first and second toes metatarsals.
