1. It is easy to catch a cold and pat the lung meridian

The working hours of the lung meridian are 3:00-5:00 in the morning

Meridian circulation: hand Taiyin lung meridian

Main line: from the middle of the heart (the place of the stomach), the lower choroids are distributed to the large intestine, turn over the appetite, the upper diaphragm, pass into the lungs, and then come out from the armpits, along the inner and upper part of the upper arm, straight down the elbow, along the inner and upper part of the lower arm, into the wrist inch mouth, into the thenar, out of the end of the big finger;

One branch: from the back of the wrist and all the way to the tip of the index finger.

Prone to problems in the area of travel: upper chest pain, snoring and even sleep apnea, anterior shoulder pain, inner upper arm muscle pain, wrist pain (usually a lot of children are held), thenar pain, big finger pain or numbness.

2. Head and face diseases to find the large intestine

The working hours of the large intestine meridian are 5:00-7:00 in the morning

This is the most suitable and convenient time, so many people who get up early are easy to defecate, and vice versa, they are prone to constipation; Therefore, if you often pat the large intestine meridian, you will have a bowel movement on time at this time, and you can also eat some high-fiber vegetables and fruits.

Meridian circulation: Hand Yang Ming large intestine meridian

Main line: from the outer end of the index finger, straight up through the valley, along the outside of the arm, over the outside of the elbow, along the outside of the big arm over the shoulder, directly to the acromion, through the back of the shoulder, the flat shoulder inward to the large vertebrae, and then forward and down into the pelvis, distributed to the lungs, diaphragm, connected to the large intestine;

A branch: from the upper neck of the clavicle fossa, through the cheeks, into the upper alveolar, and then out of the mouth, intersecting in the person, and running to the Yingxiang point on the outside of the nostril on the opposite side.

Problems in the following areas: index finger pain or numbness, Hegu acupoint pain, external upper wrist pain, outer upper arm muscle pain, acromial pain, neck side pain, upper tooth pain, acne around the mouth.

3. Indigestion pats the stomach meridian


The working hours of the gastric meridian are 7:00-9:00 in the morning

At this time, the gastrointestinal digestion and absorption of the human body is the strongest, and it is the best time for nutrients to be delivered to various organs to nourish the viscera, which is also a very important factor in traditional Chinese medicine. If you often skip breakfast, you will be prone to stomach diseases, such as gastritis, stomach ulcers, stomach bloating and other problems.  

Meridian circulation: Foot Yang Ming stomach meridian

Main line: from the middle of the nose, next to the bladder meridian, down out of the nose, into the upper alveolar, then out of the mouth, around the lips, under the pulp, then outward along the jaw, all the way to the cheeks, then up to the front of the ear, follow the hairline, to the frontal hairline angle;

One of its branches, from the big welcome to the front of the people, follow the throat, into the basin, into the diaphragm, into the stomach and into the spleen;

The second branch: straight down from the lack of a basin, through the nipple to the nipple root, and then 1.5 inches inward from the middle, to the air rush;

Its three branches: from the stomach, down to the abdomen, down to the qi rush and merge, and then together with the lower condyle, against the rabbit, under the knee in the bone, along the outer upper calf, the outer side of the lower foot, into the inner toe of the two toes;

The four branches: from three inches below the knee and out to the outside of the two toes;

Its five branches: from the top of the foot to the end of the big finger.

4. Fatigue overdraft and spleen meridians

The working hours of the spleen meridian are 9:00-11:00 a.m

At this time, it is the most prosperous period of human qi and blood, so it is also the time with the highest work efficiency, so it is not advisable to eat hot and spicy and irritating food, so as not to hurt the spleen.

Meridian circulation: foot too yin and spleen meridians

Main line: from the end of the big toe, from the inside of the toe to the anterior side of the medial malleolus, along the back of the tibia, in front of the ground machine and intersect with the liver meridian, walk on the knee and thigh, enter the abdomen, enter the spleen and branch into the stomach, the upper diaphragm, pass through the pharynx, and distribute under the tongue;

Its branch: a diaphragm is divided from the stomach and enters the heart.

5. Upset heart beating heart sutra

Heart Sutra work hours are 11:00-13:00 noon

This is also the reason why you have to eat at noon, many people also say that it is not advisable to exercise vigorously at noon, that is, they are worried that when the heart meridian is full of qi and blood, it will cause the blood flow disorder, so you should rest moderately, but the nap should not be too long, otherwise it is easy to get drowsy in the afternoon.

Meridian circulation: hand less yin heart meridian

Main line: from the heart, from the diaphragm, to the small intestine;

One of them: from the heart up the throat and up into the eyes;

The second branch is from the heart, through the lungs, under the armpit, along the inside of the upper arm, into the inside of the elbow, then along the inside of the lower arm, through the back of the palm, to the inner tip of the little finger.

Prone to problems in the following areas: chest tightness, precardiac pain, axillary pain, inner and lower arm pain, elbow tip pain, inner forearm pain, little finger pain or numbness, etc.

6. Malabsorption asks the small intestine

The working time of the small intestine meridian is 13:00-15:00 at noon

At this time, the small intestine is cleared, turbid and absorbed, nutrients are absorbed into the body, and turbidity is sent to the large intestine to be digested and eliminated from the body; After this time, the stomach and intestines begin to rest, and then eat a small amount of protein, fat, and starchy high-nutrient foods at dinner time, otherwise it is easy to accumulate in the body, which is also the reason for eating less at dinner.

Meridian circulation: hand sun small intestine meridian

Main line: from the outer end of the little finger along the outer upper wrist of the hand, straight up along the outer and lower side of the forearm, over the elbow and the outer back of the upper arm, through the posterior corner of the shoulder, around the outside of the scapula, over the shoulder, into the pelvis, branching to the heart, and then from the pharyngeal diaphragm, to the stomach, and then into the small intestine;

One of them: from the missing pelvis along the neck, up to the cheeks, to the outer canthus, and then into the ears;

The second branch is not on the cheeks, against the nose, to the inner canthus of the eyes, and obliquely on the cheeks.

Problems in the following areas: pain or numbness in the little finger, pain in the palm margin, pain in the outer and lower muscles of the arm, pain in the back shoulder, pain in the scapula, pain under the ear, acne on the cheeks, pain in front of the ear, etc.

7. Neck, shoulders, waist and back to the bladder

The working hours of the bladder are 15:00-17:00 in the afternoon

The bladder is the organ of the kidneys, both of which are water, so it is necessary to drink more water during this time to help the bladder eliminate waste products from the body and promote the metabolism of the urinary system.

Meridian circulation: foot sun bladder meridian

Main line: from the inner canthus of the eye, along the forehead upward, on the top of the head;

One of them: from the sides of the crown of the head to the upper horns of the ears;

The second branch: from the top of the head into the branching to the brain, through the neck, along the spine to the middle of the waist, branching into the kidneys, and then into the bladder;

Its three branches: from the middle of the waist to the lower spine, through the buttocks into the popliteal fossa;

The four branches: from the back of the hairline to the left and right through the shoulder blades, along the sides of the spine, to the sacrum, from the two in one into the popliteal fossa, down through the back of the lower leg, from the back of the lateral malleolus, along the outside of the foot, to the outside of the little toe.

Prone to problems in the following areas: forehead pain, pain on both sides of the head, pain in the back of the head, pain in the back of the head, back pain, sacral pain, pain in the back of the thighs, pain in the outside of the soles of the feet, pain or numbness in the little toes, etc.

8. Lack of energy to nourish the kidney meridian

The working hours of the kidney meridian are 17:00-19:00 in the afternoon

The kidney meridian is the meridian of the human body to coordinate yin and yang energy, and it is also the main meridian to maintain the balance of water and fluid in the body.

Meridian circulation: foot less yin and kidney meridians

Main line: Starts under the little toe, runs obliquely inward from the center of the foot, follows the medial malleolus out of the valley, circles in front of the heel, goes up along the posterior side of the calf, reaches the thigh, passes through the spine, and enters the kidney to the bladder;

One of them: from the kidneys upwards through the liver and diaphragm, into the lungs, along the throat, and into the tongue;

The second branch: it comes out of the lungs, flows into the heart, and is injected into the chest.

Prone to problems in the walking area: pain in the soles of the feet, pain in the inner side of the feet, pain in the inner ankles of the feet, pain in the inner back of the legs, etc.

9. Insomnia and dreams adjust the pericardial meridian

The working hours of pericardial menstruation are 19:00-21:00 in the evening

The pericardium is the main diarrhea and main blood, so if the dinner is too rich, it is easy to have hyperthermia and cause chest irritation and nausea, so if you eat at this time, it is recommended that the dinner should not be too tired, and you should rest after the meal, and it is best to take a walk for exercise.

Meridian circulation: hand syncope yin pericardial meridian

Main line: from the middle of the chest, belonging to the pericardium, inferior diaphragm, branching to the trifocal;

One of them: along the chest from the flank specifically three inches under the armpit, up to the armpit, and then down along the inside of the upper arm, into the elbow, walking between the two tendons, into the palm, out of the middle finger;

The second branch: from the palm, through the little finger and the second finger out.

10. Strange and difficult diseases are three focuses

The working hours of Sanjiao Jing are 21:00-23:00 in the evening

It is the main channel for the operation of the body's blood and qi, especially the upper limbs of the human body, and the kidneys that drain water belong to the scope of the Sanjiao meridian. At this time, it is full of yin, to calm the five organs to facilitate sleep, pay attention not to particularly press on a certain side of the hand when sleeping, and people who are prone to edema should not drink more water before going to bed.

Meridian circulation: hand Shaoyang Sanjiao meridian

Main line: from the outer end of the ring finger, between the two fingers, along the wrist, between the two bones outside the arm, up through the elbow, along the upper shoulder of the outer arm, and after handing over the gallbladder meridian. into the pelvis, distributed in the body, dispersed to the pericardium, inferior diaphragm muscle, into the trifocal;

One of its branches: from the middle of the body to the upper part of the basin, the upper neck, behind the ear, straight up to the upper corner of the ear, and then down the cheek to the face;

11. Nodular tumor biliary meridian

The working hours of the gallbladder meridian are 23:00-1:00 in the evening

At this time, the yin qi is the strongest, and the gallbladder meridian will guide the initial human body's yang qi to decline, which is the beginning of the body's recuperation and repair; Staying up late will cause gallbladder fire, causing insomnia, headache, sorrow and other neurological symptoms, so it is advisable to recuperate, and if people with gallbladder diseases such as gallstones, gallbladder polyps, etc., will also wake up here, or unable to fall asleep, and can not fall asleep until 12 o'clock or even 1 o'clock.

Meridian circulation: foot less yang gallbladder meridian

Main line: from the outer canthus, up to the head corner, behind the lower ear, along the neck, to the shoulder, and then hand over the three focal meridians, into the missing basin;

One of them: from behind the ear into the ear, out of the front of the ear, to the back of the outer canthus;

The two branches: from the lateral canthus, under the big ying, over the face and cheeks, and then under the neck into the pelvis, straight down to the middle of the chest, through the diaphragm, branching into the liver into the gallbladder, along the flank, out of the street, around the pubic bone, across the crotch;

The three branches: from the lower armpit of the pelvis, along the chest, over the flank, to the outside of the crotch, out of the outside of the knee, along the trouser line straight down the lateral malleolus, down before the lateral malleolus, along the surface of the foot, into the outer end of the four toes;

Its four branches: from the surface of the foot, into the big toe, and then along the big toe, distributed to the toenail and hair.

Prone to problems in the following areas: migraine, pain behind the ear, pain in the shoulder well, pain in the shoulder, pain in the flanks, pain in the crotch, pain in the outer thigh, pain in the outside of the calf, pain in the lateral ankle, pain in the face of the foot, pain in the fourth toe or numbness, etc.

12. Emotional melancholy and soothing the liver meridian

The working hours of the liver meridian are 1:00-3:00 p.m

This meridian has the function of soothing and regulating the waterway, and because the liver and gallbladder are the surface and the inside of each other, they affect each other, and rest can make the blood return to nourish the liver, otherwise it is not conducive to the detoxification function of the liver. The liver meridian has the ability to regulate the blood of the whole body, channel the whole body, harmonize the qi and blood, and it is advisable to fall asleep under a happy spirit, so as not to over-suppress and cause poor qi and blood.

Meridian circulation: foot syncope yin liver meridian

Main line: from the time of the big toe bush hair, up to the inner malleolus, then upward, eight inches on the inner malleolus, after the spleen meridian, in the knee and thigh, along the groin, into the pubic hair, through the genitals, to the lower abdomen, connected to the stomach, into the liver to the gall bladder, then up through the diaphragm, spread on the ribs, and then up along the throat, around the lips, through the eyes, up to the forehead, and the pulse on the top of the head;

Its branches: from the eyes down to the cheeks, around the lips;

Its branches: a branch from the liver runs through the diaphragm and is injected into the lungs.

Prone to problems in the following areas: big toe pain, anterior medial malleolar pain, medial anterior calf pain, medial knee pain, medial thigh midline pain, pubic pain, lower abdominal pain, liver pain, etc.

13. Frail and sweaty, moxibustion and moxibustion

Meridian circulation: Ren pulse is one of the eight veins of the Qi meridian, and the two veins of Du and Chong all originate in the cell, and they come out of the "perineum" together, which is called "one source and three qi". Ren pulse runs in the middle of the chest and abdomen, and reaches the chin. The Ren pulse is related to the six yin meridians, called the "sea of yin meridians", which has the effect of regulating the yin meridians and qi of the whole body. This meridian acupoint is mainly used to treat local diseases of the abdomen, chest, neck, head and face and corresponding internal organ diseases, and a few acupoints have the effect of strengthening the body and aphrodisiac, and can also treat emotional diseases.

14. Hypocrisy and fear of cold patting

Meridian circulation: The Du pulse starts from the inner uterus of the lower abdomen, goes down to the perineum, travels backward to the Changqiang acupoint from the middle of the back to the caudal sacral region, goes up along the spine, passes through the back of the neck to the Fengfu acupoint, enters the brain, along the midline of the head, goes up to the Baihui acupoint on the top of the head, goes down through the forehead to the Sujiao acupoint at the tip of the nose, passes through the middle of the person, and reaches the gingival intersection point in the middle of the upper teeth.

Prone to problems: perineal pain, hemorrhoids, coccygeal pain, lumbosacral pain, low back pain, back pain, neck pain, back pain, top of the head pain, forehead pain, etc

The above mainly from the pain of the meridian walking parts, as well as the perspective of susceptibility to diseases to understand the meridians that should be beaten, this time the focus is on the diseases that can be prevented and supervised by each meridian, in fact, a large part of them are the result of the joint action of multiple meridians, so there will be a general situation, we must pat the general part of the practice, but even so, it is still of great guiding significance for the targeted tapping of many diseases.


1. Diseases to be prevented and treated by the hand less yin heart meridian:

Cardiovascular disease: coronary heart disease, angina, bradycardia, tachycardia, myocardial ischemia, palpitation.

Neurological and psychiatric disorders: insomnia, forgetfulness, neurasthenia, schizophrenia, epilepsy, neurosis.

Others: muscle pain through the meridians, intercostal neuralgia.

2. Diseases of the small intestine of the hand and the sun are prevented and treated:

Diseases of the five senses: sore throat, eye pain, tinnitus, deafness, otitis media, mumps, tonsillitis, keratitis, headache.

4. Diseases to be prevented and treated by the foot sun bladder meridian:

Respiratory system: cold, fever, various acute and chronic bronchitis, asthma, pneumonia.

Digestive system: dyspepsia, abdominal pain, dysentery, gastric and duodenal ulcer, gastric prolapse, acute and chronic gastroenteritis, hepatitis, cholecystitis.

Genitourinary system: nephritis, impotence, orchitis, amenorrhea, menstrual irregularities, dysmenorrhea, pelvic inflammatory disease, adnexitis, cervical erosion.

Other diseases: insomnia, low back pain, sciatica, sequelae of stroke, arthritis, muscle pain through the meridians.

5. Diseases to be prevented and treated by the Yin and Liver meridians of the foot and the yin:

Diseases of the reproductive system: dysmenorrhea, amenorrhea, menstrual irregularities, pelvic inflammatory disease, prostatitis, hernia.

Hepatobiliary diseases: various acute and chronic hepatitis, acute and chronic cholecystitis, hepatosplenomegaly, depression.

Others: pain in the top of the head, dizziness, various vertigo, epilepsy, stomach pain, etc.

6. Diseases that are prevented and treated by the foot less yang gallbladder:

Hepatobiliary diseases: acute and chronic cholecystitis, biliary colic, various chronic hepatitis.

Cephalic and facial diseases: dizziness, migraine, facial neuritis, facial nerve paralysis, tinnitus, deafness, myopia.

Others: cold, fever, sore throat, flank pain, muscle pain in the meridians.

7. Diseases prevented and treated by Zuyang Ming stomach meridian:

Gastrointestinal diseases: diarrhea in children, gastric distention, gastric pain, gastric prolapse, acute gastric cramps, gastritis, gastric neurosis, gastric and duodenal ulcers, dyspepsia, loss of appetite, constipation, diarrhea, dysentery, slow gastrointestinal peristalsis.

8. Diseases to be prevented and treated by the Foot Taiyin and Spleen Sutra:

Digestive diseases: dyspepsia, diarrhea, dysentery, constipation.

Gynecological diseases: dysmenorrhea, irregular menstruation, amenorrhea, early or wrong menstruation, pelvic inflammatory disease, adnexitis.

Andrology: acute and chronic prostatitis, edema.

Others: unexplained pain all over the body, arthritis, muscle and soft tissue diseases through the meridians.

9. Diseases prevented and treated by the hand Taiyin lung:

Respiratory diseases: various acute and chronic bronchitis, bronchitis, asthma, cough, hemoptysis, chest pain.
