Acupuncture points are the "health switch" of the human body, and reasonable daily acupressure massage also helps to live a long and healthy life.


As early as more than 2,000 years ago, our ancestors pointed out in the famous medical book "The Yellow Emperor's Neijing" that "the air pockets originate, each has its own name", and recorded the names of 160 acupuncture points.


Traditional Chinese medicine believes that acupuncture points are not only the parts where the meridian qi is infused on the body surface, but also the application sites of acupuncture, massage and other therapies, and have the benefits of "pressing it quickly" and "driving away diseases quickly".


The "three nests and three acupoints" introduced below are suitable for massage and health.


Rub the three nests


1. Rub your eye sockets often - promote calming the nerves



The eye socket is in the soft area of the eye socket, and rubbing it every day can not only maintain the eyes, but also help lower blood pressure and calm the nerves.


Method: Close your eyes lightly and use the pads of your index finger to slowly rotate and massage 10 times clockwise and counterclockwise on your eyelids.


2. Rub the ear sockets often - to prevent colds



There is a very important acupuncture point in the ear socket, the pampong acupoint, which is located in the depression behind the earlobes on both sides. Rubbing the wind acupoints can play a role in preventing colds and preventing wind evil from invading the body.


Method: Use the thumbs of both hands to slowly press the fossa behind the ear, exhale slowly, continue for 5 seconds and then let go, and press repeatedly for 10~15 minutes.


3. Rub the neck socket often - it can sharpen the throat


Stimulation of the cervical fossa can reduce muscle spasm tension and play a role in relieving cough and asthma.



Method: Rub the neck fossa with the tip of the index finger, 100 circles each time, 3~4 times a day, and the strength should be slightly sore.

1. Rub the inside and outside often - regulate blood pressure


The Neiguan acupoint is on the inside of the wrist, the wrist stria is two inches up (about 3 horizontal finger width), and the depression between the palmaris longus tendon and the flexor carpi radialis tendon is the Waiguan acupoint on the dorsal side of the hand.



Methods: Place the thumb and index finger on the Neiguan acupoint and the outer Guan acupoint respectively, knead up and down for 30 seconds as a group, alternate the left and right hands, and knead for 5~10 minutes every day to regulate blood pressure.


2. Often knead the valley - help stabilize sugar


There is a bulging bone below the tip of the inner malleolus, and below it is the Rangu acupoint, which is the earliest acupuncture point for the treatment of thirst (that is, diabetes) recorded in ancient China.


Method: After washing your feet every night, rub the Rangu acupoint with your thumb until there is obvious soreness.


3. Frequent kneading of Fenglong - regulating blood lipids


The Feng Long acupoint is located on the anterior and lateral side of the calf, and can be taken 8 inches (about 10 finger widths) up to the tip of the outer malleolus.



Method: Rubbing Fenglong acupoint and Chengshan acupoint for two or three minutes every day, with exercise, can play a good role in lowering blood lipids.

Massage acupoints should not be carried out for a long time, long-term stimulation of an acupoint will have the possibility of breaking the qi, and it will also reduce the sensitivity of the acupuncture points and improve the body.


The best way is not to be limited to a point, to combine points, lines, and surfaces, don't just stare at a position, like many acupuncture points on the Heart Sutra are very similar, it is best to bring them when massaging, it becomes a point to drive the line, massage a few more lines, and it will become a massage surface, so that the health care effect of the combination of points, lines, and surfaces is better.
