Women, why do they always have low back pain?

What are the causes of low back pain in women? Many female friends often feel low back pain and backache, but the causes of low back pain are often diverse, and different pain sensations represent different pathologies, and the conditioning is not the same. So let's introduce what are the causes of low back pain in women?

1. Fatigue during pregnancy and puerperium

During pregnancy, as the fetus grows up, the ligaments of the lumbosacral and pelvic joints of the pregnant woman relax, and the weight of the uterus increases with the increase of gestational age, causing the center of gravity of the body to move forward. In order to maintain the balance of the body, the waist is raised forward, and if you do not pay attention to rest, it is easy to cause low back pain. During pregnancy, fetal development needs sufficient calcium, phosphorus and other nutrients, if the dietary intake is insufficient, it can cause osteomalacia and decalcification of pregnant women, and also cause low back pain. Excessive bleeding during the puerperium, or premature labor, fatigue, and colds can also cause low back pain.

2. Kidney deficiency

Women are also prone to kidney deficiency like men, and the consequences of kidney deficiency in women are similar to those of men, which can cause low back pain. If it is kidney deficiency and low back pain, it is necessary to pay attention to tonifying the kidney, in addition to taking some health products to tonify the kidney, you can also eat those that can tonify the kidney, such as some animal offal, or other vegetables and fruits.

3. Lumbar muscle strain

People who work with certain characteristics are prone to lumbar muscle strain, such as haircuts, sales, nurses, etc. This is due to the constant standing, which strains the ligaments in the lower back, causing pain. Or often carry heavy objects, which overburdens the waist, causing lumbar muscle strain, resulting in low back pain.

4. Lumbar spine lesions

As many women get older, they find that the phenomenon of low back pain increases. This is because older people tend to have loose bones, resulting in vertebral collapse fractures. Osteophytes in older people can cause persistent low back pain. This condition is common in older people. Not only that, osteoporosis can cause lumbar spinal stenosis, which can compress nerves and cause pain.

5. Blood stasis low back pain

Lumbar muscle strain or sprain causes local blood stasis and poor flow of qi and blood resulting in blood stasis low back pain, which is also relatively common, and the pain is manifested as local stabbing and pinprick pain. In this case, organic diseases such as lumbar disc herniation, kidney stones, nephritis, etc. should be ruled out first. Low back pain caused by organic disease will last for a long time, and it is difficult to distinguish it from blood stasis low back pain in the early stage, so it should be investigated.

6. Wear high heels for a long time

Wearing high heels is also one of the causes of low back pain in women, long-term wearing of high heels affects the balance of the lower limbs, standing and walking can not do as you like, the whole body's response and coordination ability decreases, and acute lumbar sprain is also prone to occur. During sprains, muscles and ligaments are torn of varying degrees and have micro-bleeding, swelling and even bruising, which can be manifested as low back pain and bring great inconvenience to work and life.

7. Pelvic tumors

For example, patients with uterine fibroids, cervical cancer, and ovarian cysts may have low back pain due to tumor compression of nerves or infiltration of pelvic connective tissue by cancer cells. When such patients have low back pain, they are often accompanied by generalized pain in the abdomen, and drug treatment is often ineffective.

8. Lumbar disc herniation

It is a common cause of low back pain in young women of adulthood. It is mostly caused by waist injuries and long-term chronic strains, which are manifested as pain in the lower back, radiating pain and numbness of the lower limbs, etc., and the treatment includes bed traction, surgery, etc.

9. Cold and damp low back pain

This type of low back pain is mainly caused by the attack of wind and cold in the lower back, and the pain is local (upper waist) pain, which is manifested as cold pain and worsens on rainy days.

10. Sacroiliac joint strain

The sacroiliac joint is composed of the lateral sacrum and bilateral iliums, and although it is a synovial joint, the articular surface is staggered, and strong ligaments are fixed, with only a small amount of anterior-posterior and rotational activity. Sacroiliac joint sprains are one of the most common causes of low back pain in women. Endocrine effects in women late in pregnancy can make ligaments loose and prone to sprains or prolonged after delivery. The clinical manifestations are persistent local pain, dare not bear weight, aggravation during activity, and difficulty in turning over.

11. Abnormal position of the uterus

Low back pain due to anterior tilt, backward flexion, prolapse, etc. There is no special treatment for this type of low back pain, and the uterine prolapse can be corrected, and the symptoms can be relieved by changing the position.

12. Pelvic inflammatory disease

Low back pain caused by inflammation such as pelvic inflammatory disease is completely different from low back pain in men, and is more common in women of childbearing age. Low back pain caused by pelvic inflammatory disease and cervicitis is more common in clinical practice. The pain is soreness and pain in the lumbosacral region, accompanied by lower abdominal pain and increased leucorrhoea.

13. Kidney deficiency and low back pain

Kidney deficiency and low back pain are the most common low back pain in women. Its pain is a lingering pain in the entire waist, a dull pain, and soreness and weakness. Exertion or exertion after sexual intercourse. In the theory of traditional Chinese medicine, the waist is the intestine of the kidneys, and the main reproduction and female menstruation. The most common is low back pain caused by kidney yang deficiency, which is manifested as cold pain in the lower back and soreness and weakness in the waist and knees. Women lose too much blood during menstruation every month, and at the same time they conceive and give birth, which will damage kidney qi. Women who have had children and who have had repeated abortions are more likely to have this type of low back pain.

14. Rheumatoid arthritis

Many women may be attacked by wind and humidity during childbirth, postpartum and menstruation, which will lead to bone spurs, which may grow in the spine and other positions, and then cause severe pain because of intervertebral disc herniation.

15. Cold, trauma

Women suffering from rheumatism and rheumatoid arthritis often suffer from low back pain due to the invasion of wind, dampness and cold during menstruation, childbirth and postpartum, resulting in long bone spurs in the spine. If you have a sprain in your lower back, it may develop into a herniated disc, which can cause severe low back pain and even affect the flexion, extension and rotation of the spine.
