6 "physiognomy changes" are precursors of heart disease! Check it out

The heart is the "engine" of the human body.

All functions of the body need the heart to pump blood to maintain.

But such a seemingly powerful organ,

It's actually fragile.

According to the statistics released at the World Arrhythmia Congress, there are about 20 million arrhythmia patients in China, and about 540,000 people die suddenly every year.

The Journal of the American College of Cardiology has published the results of the "Prospective Study of Chronic Diseases in China": 67.9% of major coronary events such as acute myocardial infarction and 39.1% of ischemic stroke in Chinese people are related to unhealthy lifestyles such as smoking, excessive alcohol consumption, insufficient exercise, unreasonable diet, and obesity.

You may not know,

Before the onset of palpitations, pain in the precordial area,

Heart disease may change your "appearance".

Let the experts teach you how to read words and colors today

Detect the signs of heart disease early.

These physiognomy are signs of heart disease:

1. Facial puffiness

Edema is a local or generalized swelling caused by the accumulation of water in the body's extracellular fluid, which is associated with lesions in many organs of the body.

The face shape is swollen, the facial muscle tissue is saggy, and indentations will occur when pressed with fingers, and the skin at the indentation site will not bounce. These changes can indicate a heart problem.

2. Thick fingers (toes) at the ends

The ends are distinctly thick and drumstick-like, the normal depression of the skin disappears, the soft tissue at the base of the "drumstick" is raised, and the surrounding skin is tight and shiny, which is common in patients with chronic cor pulmonale or congenital cyanotic heart disease.

3. Abdominal pain

50% of heart disease cases are accompanied by abdominal pain, sometimes nausea or bloating. Symptom description: Abdominal pain that precursors to heart disease are intermittent and will flare up again soon after the discomfort subsides, and the tension in the limbs can exacerbate the abdominal pain.

4. The neck becomes thicker

From clinical experience, people with thick necks have relatively high blood pressure, blood lipids, blood sugar and other indicators, which are closely related to heart disease. In general, if the neck circumference is more than 39 cm for men and 35 cm for women, it means that the neck is thicker.

5. Earlobe creases

If there is a continuous fold in the earlobe, it is most likely a sign that coronary arteriosclerosis is more severe.

It refers to an oblique fold that starts between the tragus and ends at the edge of the earlobe, at a 45° angle, and is longer than 1/3 of the earlobe, and can be seen on one or both sides of the earlobe.

6. Dark brown or dark purple skin

The skin of patients with chronic heart failure and advanced cor pulmonale may be dark brown or dark purple, which is related to long-term hypoxia of body tissues.

Patients with rheumatic heart disease and mitral stenosis have a dark red complexion. With mitral regurgitation, the patient may be pale.

Pumping dysfunction of the heart causes the body to lack oxygen, which can cause the skin and mucous membranes to turn blue and purple (cyanosis).

Special Tips

Although these physical characteristics are an important part of a doctor's inspection, it is important to note that a person's appearance alone cannot tell if they have heart disease.

If you have any of the above problems and suspect that you have a heart attack, you should go to the hospital for a comprehensive diagnosis and then decide on the next step of treatment.

Angina pectoris: Neiguan acupoint, Shenmen acupoint

This method is suitable for daily health care of patients with coronary heart disease or during the attack of angina.

Location of Neiguan acupoint: From the center of the horizontal wrinkle near the wrist to the center about three finger widths upwards.

The strength is from light to heavy, so that the acupuncture points produce sourness, numbness, swelling, pain, heat and other effects. Massage once a day in the morning and afternoon, and massage each acupoint for 2~3 minutes.

Arrhythmia: Xuanmen acupoint

The number of heartbeats in a normal person's quiet state is 60~100 times per minute, and when it is too fast, too slow or has an irregular beat, it is called arrhythmia.

Location of the acupoint: 5 inches on the transverse stria of the wrist, between the tendon of the palmaris longus muscle and the flexor carpi radialis tendon. It is roughly equivalent to the midpoint of the carpal and elbow striae, and between the two tendons.

Massage method: Put the finger peak of the thumb or index finger (avoid pinching the skin with your nails) on the acupuncture points, rub first and then press, mainly downward, and alternately carry out left and right. Push a little harder. Massage is performed once a day in the morning and in the afternoon, and each acupuncture is massaged for 5 minutes

Five types of people are susceptible to heart disease

1
People who are often constipated

People with constipation often exert too much force because they have difficulty defecating, causing increased abdominal pressure and consequent blood pressure.

At the same time, the heart rate increases, resulting in an increase in myocardial oxygen consumption, resulting in severe and long-lasting acute ischemia and even myocardial infarction.

2
People who love to smoke

Long-term smoking will gradually age and necrosis of myocardial tissue due to lack of oxygen, and the valve will also undergo degenerative changes.

3
Sedentary people

Prolonged sitting reduces the amount of blood flowing to the heart in veins and arteries and can also negatively affect the function of vascular endothelial cells.

4
People who are constantly angry

Increased risk of heart attack due to anger or anxiety.
