An easy-to-operate and zero-failure Portuguese-style egg tart making method

The delicacy I will share with you today is the smooth and sweet Portuguese egg tart method.

Blessed are the friends who love egg tarts, it is simple and easy to make zero mistakes.

Let's get to know it before making a Portuguese egg tart.

Introduce:

Portuguese egg tarts are also known as Portuguese cream tart, caramel macchiato egg tart. Hong Kong, Macao and Guangdong are called Portuguese tarts, which are small cream puff pastry pies, which are a kind of egg tarts.

Next, it's time to make Portuguese-style egg tarts.

——Production process——

Ingredients:

12 egg tart wrappers, 120g of whipping cream, 100g of milk, 30g of fine white sugar, 2 eggs, 15g of condensed milk (may or may not be added).

You can choose how much according to your own situation, and you don't have to do it according to my standards, if you don't like it too sweet, you can add a little less sugar, but you can't do without it, because sugar is the key to burnt spots.

Steps:

1. Separate the egg yolk from the egg white, and save only the egg yolk and not the egg white.

2. Preheat the oven at 200°C for 7~8 minutes in advance, which can be set according to your own oven temperature.

3. Add 120g of whipping cream, 100g of milk, 15g of condensed milk (can be omitted), and 30g of fine white sugar into the egg yolk in turn, do not pour them all at once, and then stir slowly and evenly with a manual whisk.

4. Pour the prepared egg tart liquid into a clean container through a sieve.

Why go through a sieve?

The purpose is to filter out the particles and bubbles that have not been stirred, so that the tart liquid is more delicate and the tart is more delicious.

5. Spread a layer of blotting paper on top of the baking tray so as not to stain the baking sheet, and then pour the sifted tart liquid into the tart skin.

(I bought the tart crust because the process of making the tart crust is more complicated)

You can also add some of your favorite fruits or foods to the tart crust to add a taste of it.

6. Put it in the preheated oven at 150~200 degrees for about 20 minutes, and put the baking tray into the middle and lower layers of the oven so that it is heated evenly.

Please check the temperature according to your own situation, do not go away when baking, and always observe the degree of baking of the tart to adjust the temperature.

How can you tell if an egg tart is baked?

When there are black burnt spots on the upper surface of the tart, it means that the tart is baked.

Take out the baked egg tart to cool, and it is normal to dent under the surface, so don't worry.

Well, the smooth and crispy Portuguese egg tart is ready, and the bite is full of milky flavor and chewy.
