【Homemade pumpkin jelly】
Ingredients: 250 grams of pumpkin, 20 grams of sugar, 10 grams of gelatin slices
Practices and Steps:
1. We prepare a piece of old pumpkin (about half a catty), and then peel off the pumpkin skin and remove the pumpkin pulp. Then cut it into small pieces with a knife, cut it and wash it, and put it in a bowl for later use.
Then pour an appropriate amount of water into the pot, put the pumpkin into the pot to steam after the water boils, turn on the high heat and steam for about 15 minutes, then turn off the heat and get out of the pot. After steaming, take out the pumpkin and sprinkle 20 grams of sugar while it is hot, and then set aside to cool for later use.
2. Take a suitable small bowl, put 10 grams of gelatin slices in the bowl, then pour in an appropriate amount of cold water (or ice water), soak the gelatin slices until soft, and generally soak for about 10 minutes.
3. After the pumpkin has cooled, pour it into a juicer and stir it into a delicate pumpkin puree. Then take a waterless and oil-free glass container, pour the stirred pumpkin puree into the container, and then pour the soft gelatin slices into the pumpkin puree, and stir well with chopsticks. After mixing well, cover and put in the refrigerator for more than 4 hours, wait for the pumpkin to completely solidify, take it out, cut it into small pieces and serve!
The pumpkin jelly made is sweet and soft, cool and refreshing, and children can rest assured when they eat it
Tips:
The pumpkin puree must be allowed to cool well (below 40 degrees at room temperature) before pouring the gelatin slices into the pumpkin puree, if the temperature is too high, it will reduce the solidification effect of the gelatin.
