Step 2: During the time of relaxing the dough, we will make apple filling, clean the apples, peel and remove the core and cut them into small cubes, heat the pot, put in the butter, fry the butter and then put in the diced apples and stir-fry, stir-fry for a while, add caster sugar and continue to stir-fry, after adding caster sugar, the diced apples will gradually ooze a lot of water, and slowly boil with these water over low heat until the diced apples become soft.


Step 3: Corn starch is mixed with water to make starch water, after the diced apples are boiled soft, pour in starch water, boil and stir-fry until the filling becomes viscous, turn off the heat, add lemon juice and salt and mix evenly, and the apple filling is ready.


Step 4: Divide the loose dough into two parts, one is larger and one is smaller, the ratio is about 2:1, put the large one on the board and roll it into thin slices with a rolling pin, and then spread it on the pie pan, gently press the pie crust with your hand to make the pie crust stick to the pie pan, roll it over the pie pan with a rolling pin, cut the excess pie crust into sections, and remove the excess pie crust.


Step 5: Then we use a fork to evenly tie some small holes in the pie crust, roll out the remaining small dough into thin slices, cut it into long strips, put apple filling on the pie crust, and then place the long strips on it, weave a crossed grid, press the junction of the grid and the pie pan with your fingers, so that the excess pie crust falls off after weaving the grid, and make the grid bond with the pie crust at the bottom.
