Don't miss fresh peaches in autumn, make more at a time and put them away, and eat them as you go

At this time of year, my family will make some canned peaches, make fresh peaches into canned food and store them, and they will not be bad in winter. Compared with the canned food bought outside, the ingredients are fresher and clean without additives, so even the children at home can eat it with confidence.

The choice of peaches

To make canned peaches, you can choose hairy peaches, nectarines, peaches, and yellow peaches, but no matter which kind of peach you choose, you must choose a slightly harder peach, because canned peaches need to be steamed at high temperatures, and if the peaches are too soft, they will not be formed after being canned, and the taste is not good.

Selection of containers

To make canned peaches, you can use the canned bottles left over from the canned food we usually eat at home, but we must pay attention to one thing when choosing canned bottles, that is, the bottle cap must not have rust spots, otherwise the finished canned food will be very easy to deteriorate.

1. Rinse the fresh peaches with water, then peel off the peach skin with a paring knife, then take out the core in the middle of the peaches and cut them into small pieces.

2. The prepared canned bottles should be cleaned inside and out with dish soap, then rinsed off the foam with water, and finally boiled in boiling water for 30 seconds, and the moisture was controlled after high temperature sterilization.

3. Add an appropriate amount of water to the pot, then add some rock sugar according to personal taste, bring to a boil over high heat, add peaches and cook for 2 minutes after the rock sugar is boiled.

4. Put the peach pieces into the canned bottle, then add an appropriate amount of rock sugar water, the amount of water should not exceed the peaches, fill the bottle until it is nine points full, and then screw the cap on, do not tighten too tightly.

5. Add water to the steamer, after the water boils, put all the canned bottles full of peaches on the pot and steam, cover the lid, and steam on high heat for about 20 minutes.

6. After the canned food is steamed, turn off the heat and simmer for 5 minutes, then take it out and tighten the cap, at this time, turn the cans all upside down, and wait until the cans are completely cooled after the caps will be dented, indicating that the inside of the canned bottles has reached a completely sealed state.

The canned peaches made in this way are clean and additive-free, delicious and hygienic, and friends who like to eat peaches can take advantage of the fact that the peaches are fresh and cheap to make some!

Tips:

Because it has been sterilized at high temperature and sealed and preserved, the shelf life is relatively long, and it can be stored for more than half a year if it is well sealed, but before eating, it must be checked whether the cap of the canned bottle is protruding, and if the cap is protruding, it is not edible.
