Friends who are familiar with the meridians of traditional Chinese medicine know that the hand Shaoyang Sanjiao meridian. The heart, liver, spleen, lungs, and kidneys, as well as the small intestine, gall bladder, stomach, large intestine, bladder, and three jiao and six intestines, also mention the three jiao. So how do you divide the three focals?

Three cokes: upper coke, middle coke, lower coke. It is one of the six intestines, and it is the collective name of the upper, middle and lower three cokes. Above the diaphragm is the upper focus, that is, the heart and lungs are the upper focus, the spleen and stomach are the middle focus, and below the umbilicus, that is, the liver, kidney, large and small intestines, and bladder are the lower focus.

Sanjiao has the function of circulating vitality, water valley and water liquid, and the function is based on a certain shape and quality.

However, this shape is not a specific and definite organ tissue, but a generalization of some organ tissues and their functions.

Therefore, the three focal points are invisible, figuratively speaking, the "three focal points" are actually a large channel of the human torso.

The meridians mainly walk on the limbs, and they walk in both directions and two lanes; In contrast, Sanjiao is a two-way eight-lane walk on the torso of the human body.

The division of the three focal points

The so-called "three-focal parts" theory believes that the three-focal is not an independent visceral organ, but a special concept used to divide the parts and internal organs of the human body.

According to the difference between the three focal points, the upper focus, the middle focus and the lower focus, the human body is divided into three physiological and pathological regions: upper, middle and lower, and the important internal organs of the human body are respectively under the jurisdiction of these three regions, as shown in the figure below.

The theory of Sanjiao's vitality was first seen in the "Difficult Scripture". For example, it is difficult to say: "The three cokes, the road of the water valley, the place of qi is the end." Thirty-eight difficult to say: "Therefore, there are six in the intestines, which are called three jiao, and there is a difference between the original qi and the qi, presiding over all qi." Sixty-six difficult to say: "The three cokes, the original qi is different, the master passes the three qi, and experiences the five internal organs." ”

The original text clearly states that the three jiao is the road for the human body's vitality (original qi) to rise and fall, and the human body's vital energy reaches the five internal organs and all parts of the body through the three jiao.

Yuan Qi is the most fundamental Qi of the human body and the driving force of life activities. The vitality is rooted in the kidneys, and it reaches the five internal organs and six organs through the three jiao into the twelve meridians, so it is called the three jiao as the different envoys of the vitality.

Because Sanjiao passes the vitality in the whole body, it is the channel for the rise and fall of the body's qi, and it is also the place of gasification, so it is said that Sanjiao has the function of presiding over all qi and the whole body qi and gasification. If the vitality is weakened, the trifocal channel does not function smoothly or declines, it will lead to qi deficiency in the whole body or some parts.

2. Run the water valley

Su Wen. Jin Kuizhen's Remarks called Sanjiao one of the six intestines, "Su Wen. The Five Tibetan Treatises call Sanjiao the house of Chuanhua, which has the function of Chuanhua Water Valley.

Su Wen. The Six Sections of the Tibetan Elephant Theory says: "Three Jiao...... The foundation of the warehouse, the residence of the camp, the name of the device, can turn the dross, and the person who changes the taste and enters and exits. It is pointed out that Sanjiao has the effect of subtly changing the water valley into camp qi and transmitting the dross.

The water valley begins with the path of the human body and the end of the qi, including the digestion of food, the absorption of subtle substances, and the excretion of dross.

And according to the different parts of the upper, middle and lower three cokes, the role of the water valley in the operation process is also different, and there are specific descriptions of the upper coke, the middle coke, and the lower coke.

This is to summarize the digestion, absorption and excretion functions of food and beverages in the three-focal running water valley.

3. Run the water liquid

Sanjiao is the main channel for the operation of water and liquid in the human body, which is discussed in many places in the "Neijing", such as "Suwen. The Linglan Secret Classics say: "The three cokes, the officials who decide the blasphemy, and the waterways come out." ”

The Corpse. "This loss" said: "The three cokes, the middle of the desecration, the waterway out of the waterway, belongs to the bladder, is the lonely intestine." It shows that Sanjiao is the organ of the human body to manage water, and has the function of dredging waterways and running water.

Human water-fluid metabolism is a complex physiological process, which is a comprehensive effect of a series of physiological functions of multiple viscera.

Such as "Su Wen. The Treatise on the Separation of Meridians says: "Drinking into the stomach, overflowing essence, up to the spleen, spleen qi to disperse essence, up to the lungs, through the waterway, down to the bladder, water essence four cloth, five meridians in parallel." ”

Although the metabolism of water and liquid is completed by the cooperation of the stomach, spleen, lungs, kidneys, intestines, bladder and other viscera, the rise and fall of water in and out of the human body and the circulation of the whole body must be realized by using three focal points as the channel.

Therefore, the passage of the three-coke waterway not only affects the slow speed of the operation of the water, but also inevitably affects the function of the relevant viscera to the distribution and excretion of the water. It can also be said that the water fluid running in Sanjiao is a comprehensive summary of the water metabolism role of the spleen, lungs, kidneys and other viscera.

If the three-focal waterway is unfavorable, it will be difficult to realize the function of regulating water and fluid in the spleen, lungs, kidneys and other viscera, resulting in abnormal water metabolism, impaired water infusion and excretion, and lesions such as phlegm drinking and edema.

As stated in the Book of Kinds. Tibetan Elephant Class" said: "If the upper focus is not cured, the water will flood the plateau; If the middle coke is not treated, the water will remain in the middle navel; If the lower coke is not cured, the water will be messy. ”

👉 The top is like fog. The so-called "like fog" is to describe the effect of compressing qi and blood on the heart and lungs, like fog and dew, irrigating and warming the organs and tissues of the whole body.

According to the division of the three focal parts, the upper focus mainly refers to the middle of the chest, including the heart and lungs. The main blood of the heart is to promote the blood to run throughout the body.

The main qi of the lungs, the main announcement of the solemnity, the essence of the water valley is spread throughout the body. Therefore, the physiological function of Shangjiao is mainly to convey the subtlety (qi and blood) of the water valley.

In addition, the "Book of Difficulties" believes that Shangjiao has the function of receiving water valleys, such as the thirty-one difficult words: "Those who are three Jiao, the road of the water valley is ......." Those who are scorched are under the heart, under the diaphragm, in the upper part of the stomach, but not in the Lord. ”

👉 Medium focus is like 沤 (òu). 沤 means to soak. The so-called "Ruchu" is to describe the role of the spleen and stomach in the middle of the spleen and stomach decaying, transporting water valleys, and then transforming qi and blood. Zhongjiao mainly refers to the upper abdomen, including the spleen, stomach, liver, gallbladder and other internal organs.

The stomach is mainly decomposed, the spleen is mainly transported, the liver and gallbladder are mainly excreted, and bile is secreted and excreted to aid digestion. Therefore, Zhongjiao has the function of digesting, absorbing and transferring the subtleties of Mizutani and metamorphosis qi and blood. The "Book of Difficulty" also holds this statement, such as the thirty-one difficult to say: "Those who are in the middle of the coke, in the stomach, do not go up or down, and the Lord is rotten in the valley of water." ”

👉 The lower focus is like a defilement (dú). The lower abdomen mainly refers to the lower abdomen, including the kidneys, bladder, and large and small intestines. "Difficult Scripture. Thirty-one Difficulties" said: "Under the Jiao...... The Lord is clear of the turbidity, and the Lord goes out but not within, so as to preach. It is said that the main physiological function of the lower focus is to conduct dross and excrete two stools.

Such as "The Corpse. The camp health association said: "Those who are scorched, do not ileum, inject into the bladder and penetrate into the bladder." Therefore, the water valley often lives in the stomach, and becomes dross and goes down to the large intestine, and becomes coke. Seep and go down, secrete other juice, and penetrate into the bladder along the scorch. That is to say, the lower coke has the effect of excreting two stools. The excretion of dross, one is the excretion of stool from the large intestine, and the other is the excretion of urine from the bladder.

The main problem with fire in the upper coke and cold in the lower coke is that the middle coke is blocked. Therefore, when the middle focus is opened, the upper and lower focus will be used to it, and the qi and blood will form a complete circuit. It is said that the importance of opening up the two veins of appointment and supervision is like this.

Therefore, if the three cokes are not passed, the consequences are very serious, the three cokes dominate the whole body, and there is a place that is not passed, then the whole gas will be disordered, so how to regulate and dredge the three cokes? As long as you pat the hand on your arm, you can do it with the Shaoyang Sanjiao Sutra.

There are 23 acupoints on one side, of which 13 acupoints are distributed on the back of the upper limbs, and 10 acupoints are on the shoulders, neck and head.


The easiest way to get through the trifocal meridian is to shoot


Every night before going to bed, start from the opposite shoulder with your left and right hands, and follow the walking route of the trifocal meridian on the outside of your arm, and pat it down. Move as fast or slow, all the way to the wrist.
