How to take the acupoints

Xinyu acupoint: Xinyu acupoint is located on the back, under the spinous process of the fifth thoracic vertebra, 1.5 inches apart.

Juque acupoint: Juque acupoint is located in the middle of the abdomen, where the left and right ribs intersect, and then two finger widths down to this acupoint. (The Juque acupoint is located in the upper abdomen, on the anterior midline, when the umbilicus is 6 inches above)

Tianjing point: The Tianjing point is located on the outside of the arm, when the elbow is flexed, when the elbow tip is straight up 1 inch depression.

Shenmen acupoint: The Shenmen acupoint is located at the wrist, the ulnar end of the striated stria on the volar side of the wrist, and the radial depression of the flexor carpi ulnaris tendon. (i.e., the horizontal stripe of the wrist, extending from the little finger to the depression at the end of the base of the palm.) )

Shaofu acupoint: Shaofu acupoint is located on the palm surface, between the 4th and 5th metacarpal bones. There is a common volar nerve of the fourth digitum from the ulnar nerve and a volar artery and vein.

Taichong acupoint: Taichong acupoint is located on the dorsal side of the foot, in the connection of the first and second toes metatarsals. Push your fingers up along the gap between the hallux and second toe until you can feel the artery (in the depression between the junction of the 1st and 2nd metatarsals)

Massage techniques

1. Sit upright, put the thumb and index finger of one hand together, press the Juque acupoint, the force should not be too large, and it is advisable to feel swelling and pain at the acupuncture point.

2. The massaged person sits upright or prone down, and the massager uses the thumbs and fingertips of both hands to rub the Xinyu acupoints on both sides of the back of the massaged, with moderate strength, and it is appropriate to feel soreness and swelling at the acupuncture points.

3. The massaged person sits upright naturally, with the elbow joint flexed in one hand, and the massager uses the thumb and finger end of one hand to vigorously tap the patio point on the arm of the massaged person, until the local feeling of soreness is appropriate, and the left and right hands are alternately tapped.

4. Rub the Shenmen acupoint of the other hand clockwise or counterclockwise with the thumb and fingertips of one hand until the local feeling of soreness or slight pain is appropriate, and massage the left and right hands alternately.

5. Make a fist with one hand, and press down on the Shaofu acupoint of the hand with the thumb of the other hand to make a fist, and use a little heavier force to feel soreness at the acupuncture point.

6. Sit upright, hold the massage stick and press the Taichong acupoint on the instep of the foot, and do clockwise or counterclockwise kneading until the local feeling is sore, and the left and right feet are pressed alternately.
