1. Moxibustion back

Positioning: In the lumbar region, when the posterior midline, in the depression under the spinous process of the 2nd lumbar vertebra.

It is often used for diseases with symptoms of yang deficiency, such as cold back, cold hands and feet, and backache and cold legs. The back is a barometer of health and a solid protective barrier for the human body. Regular moxibustion on the back can cultivate yang qi, regulate the qi and blood of the five internal organs, calm the nerves, and activate the meridians.
