How to adjust finger numbness? Try these three acupuncture points, they really work!

Limb numbness is a common disease in daily life.

First of all, this finger numbness must not be ignored, and everyone should go to the hospital as soon as possible to screen whether it is caused by cervical spondylosis, cerebrovascular disease, and diabetes. Stroke, in particular, is often precursed by numbness in the fingers. We have to screen to find the underlying disease so that we can ensure that treatment is not delayed.

However, if there are no obvious organic lesions, we need to regulate and improve them from the perspective of traditional Chinese medicine. Here's how:

Locate the Shixuan acupoint (i.e., the tip of the ten fingers of the hand) on the affected palm. Use the tip of a toothpick or ballpoint pen to press with moderate pressure for 10 minutes.

Then we found the Hand Sanli acupoint (located on the radial side of the back of the forearm, on the line between the Yangxi acupoint and the Quchi acupoint, 2 inches below the horizontal striation of the elbow), and the Houxi acupoint (located on the distal ulnar side of the fifth phalange metacarpal joint, where the palmar striated head is red and white). For these two acupuncture points, first press hard with your fingertips, and then use moxibustion strips for moxibustion, which takes 20 minutes. After this half an hour of conditioning every day, the phenomenon of hand numbness will be well improved.

What's the secret of this approach?

Let's talk about these ten acupoints first. The purpose of puncturing the ten Xuan acupoints is to promote qi, dispel stasis, and clear the channels. Traditional Chinese medicine often uses the Ten Xuan acupoints to prick blood for treatment, and we ordinary people don't have to do this, just use pricking.

There is a layer of effect in this that is particularly worth mentioning, that is, through this kind of laxative method, to dissolve phlegm and dampness. In the masterpiece of traditional Chinese medicine "Danxi Healing Law Heart", it is clearly said: "Hemp is qi deficiency, and wood is phlegm, dampness and dead blood." From this point of view, this numbness is related to phlegm and dampness. The reason why phlegm and dampness cannot be transported lies in qi deficiency. Therefore, we use the laxative method to stimulate the Shixuan acupoints, which can activate the circulation, circulate qi, and help phlegm and dampness to be transported.

Next, let's talk about hand sanli. This acupuncture point is widely praised as an important acupoint for the treatment of "unkindness" of the hand.

What is the reasoning behind this? Some people say that this acupoint belongs to the Yang Ming Sutra, which has a lot of qi and blood, so it is very good to practice qi. Actually, that's only half true. The real beauty should start from the law of meridian qi material circulation in the large intestine of Hand Yangming. It turns out that this hand Sanli is the key point of the large intestine meridian of Hand Yangming, and it is the place where the large intestine receives rain from the sky. The reason why it is called Sanli is because the coverage area is too large and the impact is far-reaching.

If the water wins, the soil is lost. If we use a combination of point pressure and moxibustion to stimulate the hands of Sanli, it will dissipate, warm, and vaporize the dampness, so that the spleen and soil qi will be enriched. If the spleen and soil are solid, the water and dampness shall not be flooded, which is conducive to the transportation of phlegm and dampness in the palm, and will naturally improve numbness.

Finally, the Houxi acupoint, this Houxi acupoint is the intersection of the eight veins. Its characteristic is that it is connected with the Governor. If we stimulate it and warm it, we can channel the Yuan Yang Qi in the Du Pulse to our hands. The abundant qi of Yuanyang can naturally transport water and dampness, smooth qi and blood, thereby improving numbness symptoms. The mystery of the creek cave is not difficult to understand.

It can be seen that it is very reasonable to treat the numbness of the hands with the Shixuan acupoint, Houxi acupoint, and hand Sanli acupoint. If we follow the methods described above, we will soon see an improvement in symptoms.
