What I want to share with you today is the practice of brown sugar jujube hair cake, which is made with a rich fragrance and sweet taste, which is even more delicious than cakes.
1. Add 300g of all-purpose flour to the basin, add 3g of yeast powder, and then add a small amount of warm brown sugar water into it and stir well.
The amount of brown sugar here can be added according to your preferred sweetness, and the batter is stirred evenly and delicately, and finally stirred to this point that is thicker than yogurt. If it is too thin, the steamed cake will be sticky.
2. Wash some red dates, remove the core of the red dates, and cut them smaller.
Chop the jujubes and pour them into the prepared batter and stir well
Once the batter is stirred, seal it with plastic wrap and let it rise in a warm place for 40 minutes.
3. After 40 minutes of fermentation, you can see that there are obvious small bubbles in the pot.
Take 3 empty bowls, brush each bowl with oil, and pour the batter into the bowl. You don't need to pour it full in the bowl, you only need to pour it 7-8 minutes full, because when steaming, the secondary fermentation will expand.
The water in the pot is boiled, and it is steamed directly in the steamer, you can put a few red dates in each bowl to decorate, cover the pot and steam over high heat for 30 minutes. You can also top it with other ingredients of your choice, such as raisins.
When the time is up, turn off the heat, first lift the lid of the pot a little to let it breathe, and wait for 5 minutes before taking it out of the pot, which can prevent the jujube cake from collapsing and retracting.
When you open the lid of the pot, you can smell a strong fragrance of jujubes, and every piece of hair cake is blooming, and you want to eat it when you look at it. In this way, the hair cake does not collapse, does not shrink, and does not clamp inside. The taste is sweet, fluffy and delicious
