Today, I used lotus root to make crispy lotus root cakes for my family, which are charred on the outside and tender on the inside, and taste very fragrant, even my children like to eat them.
Here's how I made it:
1. Wash the lotus root, peel and chop.
2. Wash the pork and grind it into a meat puree.
3. Pour the crushed lotus root into the meat filling, add an appropriate amount of minced ginger, chopped green onion, salt, light soy sauce, dark soy sauce, thirteen spices, sugar, beat an egg, add 1 tablespoon of starch, and stir vigorously.
4. Soak the glutinous rice overnight in advance, wash and drain the water.
5. Take an appropriate amount of minced meat, knead it into a ball, and arrange it into a round cake.
6. Spread a layer of glutinous rice on both sides of the meatloaf.
7. Steam for 15 minutes.
8. Steam until the glutinous rice is crystal clear.
9. Brush the oil in the pan, put in the lotus root cake, and fry over low heat.
10. Fry until golden brown and crispy on both sides.
Lotus root does this, it is delicious and nutritious, and friends who like it can try it!
