3. Cut some diced lotus root, chopped green onion and minced ginger for later use.

4. Pour the stirred minced meat, diced lotus root, chopped green onion and minced ginger into a large bowl, add an appropriate amount of salt, chicken essence, light soy sauce, dark soy sauce, sesame oil, lemon juice (or cooking wine), beat in an egg and stir well.

5. Wake up the dough, knead it slightly, roll it out into long strips, and divide it evenly into pieces.


6. Roll out each piece of dough into a dumpling wrapper, put in the adjusted filling, and wrap it to your liking.


7. Add an appropriate amount of water to the pot, put in 1 tablespoon of salt, boil over high heat, add the dumplings, boil again, and turn a few times to prevent the pot from sticking. Turn down the heat to medium and cook.

8. Put the cooked dumplings on a plate, dip them in your favorite sauce and start eating.
