This way of eating red beans can be used as a staple food or as a snack

In the past, we used red beans to make porridge and bean paste, but today we change the way to eat:

Add brown sugar, glutinous rice flour, flour and milk to red beans to make red bean cake and eat.

Preparation of red bean cake

1. Soak the red beans overnight in advance. Soak until the red beans look significantly enlarged.

2. Put the soaked red beans into a pot and steam them for about 20 minutes.

Steam until you crush it with your hands.

3. Pour the steamed red beans into a basin, add brown sugar while hot and mix well according to personal taste.

4. Add an appropriate amount of glutinous rice flour and flour (3:1) and an appropriate amount of warm milk and stir well until it is viscous.

5. The bottom of the mold and all sides are brushed with oil, covered with oiled paper, and the ingredients are poured in, compacted and smoothed.

6. Cover the mold with high-temperature resistant plastic wrap or buckle a plate, and steam the pot for 20 minutes after it is steamed.

7. Take it out after steaming, and demold the mold upside down.

8. Cool it a little and then cut it into your favorite shape (dip the knife in some water when cutting, it will be easier to operate).

Tips:

If you don't have time to soak the red beans in advance, you can also wash them and cook them directly in a pressure cooker. But the red beans should not be too bad, and I personally feel a little grainy.

You can also add sugar according to your preference.
