Breast hyperplasia is afraid of gua sha, women should scrape more!

A small number of women will experience pain in breast hyperplasia, but they often do not have many symptoms.

Breast hyperplasia covers almost all ages of women, from puberty to menopause. So, what is going on with this seemingly common illness like a cold?

What is breast hyperplasia?

Breast hyperplasia refers to the structural degeneration of the ducts and lobules of the breast tissue and the growth of progressive connective tissue, which is mainly caused by endocrine hormone imbalance, which is neither inflammatory nor tumorous.

Breast hyperplasia belongs to the category of breast fetishes in traditional Chinese medicine. The description of this disease was first seen in the "Chinese Tibetan Sutra", and later generations of doctors have discussed it in detail, and its etiology, pathogenesis, clinical manifestations and treatment have been elaborated.

Breast fetish is described as a sign of poor qi, fullness and pain in the breast, symptoms that are slow and severe, and pain that is mild and severe.

It is described in the "Collection of Cercercer Hearts":
"There is tuberculosis in the breast, shaped like a pill egg, no pain, no cold and heat, the skin color does not change, and its nucleus grows and disappears with joy and anger, this name is milk fetish."

The article not only describes the characteristics of the mass, but also points out the relationship between breast hyperplasia and emotional changes. Clinically, it is divided into liver stagnation and qi stagnation type, yin deficiency and fire prosperity type, chongren unbalanced type, and phlegm stasis and coagulation type.

Causes of breast hyperplasia

1. Abortion, birth control, and non-breastfeeding cause malfunction of the mammary gland.

2. Sentimentality, poor mood, irritability, easy to make the breasts poor in qi and blood.

3. Eating and drinking wantonly, eating too much fatty, sweet, greasy or cold food, turbidity will also block the mammary glands.

4. Long-term use of hormone drugs affects the flow of chest qi and blood.

Principles of TCM treatment

Traditional Chinese medicine believes that anger hurts the liver can make the liver stagnate and stagnation, and thinking about hurting the spleen can make the spleen lose its health. Liver and spleen injuries, phlegm and gas are intertwined, and stasis is formed, which is caused by breast hyperplasia.

Gua sha and massage treatment of breast hyperplasia are the key to soothing the liver and regulating qi, dissolving phlegm and dispersing knots, and by restoring the normal excretion function of the liver, so as to regulate the human endocrine and achieve the purpose of alleviating and treating breast hyperplasia.

Gua sha treatment for breast hyperplasia

1. Use a gua sha board to scrape the corresponding area of the back breast.

2. Focus on scraping the nodules, sand grains, and cords found under the scraper. These areas correspond to the area on the chest that is the site of breast hyperplasia.

3. Scrape the spine and bladder meridians on both sides, and the parallel chiropractic points can consolidate the effect of treatment. The more thoroughly the sha is removed during the scraping process, the more completely the breast hyperplasia lump will subside.

[1] Scrape the bladder meridian on the back first.

Start at the diaphragm acupoint (under the spinous process of the 7th thoracic vertebra, 1.5 inches lateral) and tap on this acupoint. It can invigorate blood circulation and relieve diaphragm spasm; and scrape all the way to the bile Yu acupoint (two fingers below the spinous process of the 10th thoracic vertebrae) to clear heat and dissipate dampness; Under the spinous process of the fourth thoracic vertebra, there is a plaster blind point at the width of the left and right four fingers, there is an idiom called "sick to the terminal", the anointment of this idiom is in ancient times with "ointment" as the fat at the tip of the heart, "belly" is between the heart and the diaphragm, and between the plaster is the place where the medicinal power cannot reach. It means that the illness is so critical that it cannot be cured. Scraping and tapping this acupuncture point can reconcile the qi and blood of the whole body, which can play a role that cannot be played by medicinal power.

[2] Scraping the shoulder well point on the gallbladder meridian (at the midpoint of the line connecting the large vertebrae and acromion) can improve qi and blood, which is very beneficial for the treatment of breast diseases.

[3] The Tianzong acupoint in the small intestine meridian in the central depression of the infraspinatus fossa of the scapula is also a strange point for the treatment of breast hyperplasia such as "cradle carbuncle".

[4] The midline of the chest is the channel of the Ren vein, the sea of "yin veins", and the meridian for the treatment of gynecological diseases. Among them, the midpoint of the two nipples is a "qi elimination point", I remember that there is an idiom called "heart flowers", in fact, this acupoint is the production of heart flowers. When you feel uncomfortable, you can use a gua sha board to scrape or rub it here with your hands, and your mood will be much more comfortable.

[5] Ah is acupoint--- local pain points of breast hyperplasia, "which pain and scraping", first light and then heavy, tap scraping to combine.

[6] Breast hyperplasia should also scrape the stage door point on the liver meridian (in the sixth rib space directly below the nipple); Alleviate liver qi stagnation and treat "cradle carbuncle".

[7] If there is pain in breast hyperplasia, there is an abyssal axillary point and a tendon point one inch in front of the chest on the midline of the armpit, on the foot less yang gallbladder meridian, and the nipple (lying down and leveling) in the same rib space. These two acupuncture points can also be called the "absolute acupoints" for regulating breast hyperplasia. You can use your thumb to tap and massage the acupoint (from the abyssal armpit to the tendons) about 36 times to push the turbidity away. Or when you feel a "chuckle" in your heart, you will feel that your chest does not hurt anymore, and the nodules are smaller. Push it often, it really works!

[8] There is a blood sea point on the spleen meridian of the lower limbs (about four fingers on the inner thigh and the inner end of the patellar base), which is called the "ocean of blood" of the human body. This is one of the most commonly used acupuncture points in gynecology. It can treat all kinds of blood-related diseases, whether it is bleeding, blood stasis, or anemia, and the blood does not go down, this acupuncture point can be used. Breast hyperplasia is caused by the pain of qi and blood, and frequent scraping and tapping will dredge the meridians and make the qi and blood flow smoothly.

[9] Scraping and tapping the Taichong acupoint on the liver meridian (the posterior depression of the 1st and 2nd metatarsals of the foot) can calm the liver latent yang, relieve depression and clear the liver fire. Breast hyperplasia is mostly caused by qi stagnation or qi reversal caused by too much liver fire and good anger, so angry people must eliminate qi to cure the root cause.

Self-massage routine

1. Hold one hand from under the breast and gently rub the areola towards the armpit, and gently squeeze it with the other hand.

2. Use your index finger and middle finger to clamp the nipple close to your chest, and gently pull it outward, taking care not to pull it to the pain.

3. Use your index finger and middle finger to clamp the nipple close to your chest, gently press your fingers slightly together, and rotate them in an arc.

4. Hold down the armpit with one hand, and hold one breast with the palm of the other hand and gently push it up

5. Massage with both hands around the breast in circular motions from the inside out.

6. Place the palm of one hand on the sternum and massage in a spiral shape towards the armpit

7. Hold the breast with one hand and gently tap the breast from the bottom up with the other hand.
