Massage these two acupuncture points daily to relieve windy tears and dry eyes

In daily life, many people are always in tears as soon as they walk out of the door, especially when they encounter a cold wind, tears can't stop flowing down, which is what we often call the eye of the storm.

These people are more sensitive to cold stimuli, and when the eyes are stimulated by cold air, the tear gland secretion function is enhanced, and more tears will be secreted. When the lacrimal tubule is stimulated by cold wind, the sphincter of the eye spastically contractes, so that the internal tubule, which is already relatively thin, cannot drain too much tears immediately, and windward tearing occurs.

The phenomenon of tearing in the elderly is caused by skin aging, muscle laxity, and deterioration of the function of the lacrimal gland and lacrimal duct. When the skin of the eyelids becomes loose, the effect of the "tear pump" weakens or even disappears, and when it is stimulated by high winds or cold, it reflexively causes tearing.

In fact, normal functional windward tearing is a physiological phenomenon and does not need to be treated, but if the tears do not stop when going out, it will not only affect the vision, but also cause damage to the eye skin if you wipe the eyes with unhygienic hands.

Today, Su Mu will share two acupuncture points with you, and more massage will help relieve the phenomenon of tears in the wind.

1. Pupil acupoint

The pupil acupoint is an acupuncture point on the Zushao Yang and gallbladder meridians, one centimeter at the corner of the eye outside our eyes.

According to traditional Chinese medicine, the pupil is located around the eye, so it can treat various diseases of the eye, such as eye pain, windward tears, myopia, cataracts, and other eye-related problems, which can be solved by stimulating the acupoint. Frequent stimulation of the pupils is also effective in preventing crow's feet.

During the massage, press the tip of the index finger on the pupil's acupoint, with the acupuncture point as the center, with moderate strength, and perform rotational kneading for three to five minutes each time.

2. Bearing weeping acupoints

The Chengqi acupoint is the acupuncture point of the Zuyang Ming stomach meridian, which is directly below the pupil, between the eyeball and the lower edge of the orbit. It has the effect of treating eye problems such as eye fatigue, windward tears, presbyopia, etc., and can also improve dark circles by regularly rubbing the sobbing acupoints.

Press the index finger on the Chengqi acupoint, with the acupuncture point as the center, with moderate strength, and rotate and knead for three to five minutes each time.

The skin around the eyes is delicate, so the nails should not be too long and not too heavy.

Although the method of acupressure introduced above is very simple, it is much better than taking medicine to improve the effect of tears in the wind. Careful operation and persistence for a period of time can alleviate the problem of tears in the wind. In addition to doing a good health massage, you should also pay attention to not overuse your eyes, pay attention to eye hygiene, and eat more foods containing vitamins A and B.
