After summer, the damp heat is steamed, and the combination becomes the damp heat and evil qi. Traditional Chinese medicine says that "dampness leads to the spleen", so strengthening the spleen and dispelling dampness is the focus of health preservation in summer, especially in the dog days.
Today, we will share with you three acupuncture points, usually insist on massage or moxibustion, you can dissipate dampness, strengthen the spleen, and stomach, replenish the middle and invigorate qi, and activate the meridians.
01, Fenglong Acupoint
Acupuncture points: Find the two points of the knee eye and the lateral malleolus from the outside of the leg, connect them into a line, and then take the midpoint of this line, and then find the tibia on the leg, the outer side of the front edge of the tibia is 1.5 inches, about the width of two fingers, and the midpoint is level with the midpoint just now, this place is the Fenglong acupoint.
Conditioning:
Fenglong acupoint belongs to the stomach meridian, and also connects with the spleen meridian, which can regulate the two major organs of the spleen and stomach, and has a good conditioning effect of dehumidification and expectoration.
Massage Method:
Press the acupuncture points slightly with your thumb, based on the slight pain, hold for 5 seconds and then release, and press each other alternately for 3~5 minutes.
You can also use your fist to gently tap this acupoint, and the skin will naturally turn red as the standard, for 5~10 minutes each time. The Feng Long acupoint is generally more sensitive than the surrounding area, and there will be a slight pain during the massage.
02, Zusanli
Acupuncture points: Zusanli is located at the edge of the four horizontal fingers and tibia under the eyes of the outer knee.
Conditioning:
Zusanli acupoint is one of the main acupuncture points of "Zuyang Ming Stomach Meridian", which has the conditioning effect of generating stomach qi and drying the spleen and dampness. Folk often say: "Often press Zusanli, better than eat old hens", which shows how important Zusanli is to strengthen the body.
Massage Method:
Press the tip of your thumb and fingers on the Zusanli acupoint, do a tapping activity, press and loosen, press 15~20 times per minute, and press for about 5~10 minutes a day. During massage, it is advisable to feel soreness and heat.
03, Spleen Yu acupoint
Acupoint: The Spleen Yu acupoint is located on the back, under the spinous process of the 11th thoracic vertebra, 1.5 inches apart. The navel corresponds to the second lumbar vertebrae, and then touch the three vertebrae upwards, and open two fingers below.
Conditioning:
It has the regulating effect of improving dampness, strengthening the spleen and stomach, and invigorating qi and yang.
Massage Method:
Place the thumbs and fingertips of both hands on the spleen and Yu acupoints, gradually press down hard, press and knead them, so that the affected area will feel sore, numb, swollen and heavy.
Then use the rubbing method, that is, rubbing the acupuncture points back and forth, so that the local heat sensation is deep inside, and the skin is flushed. Repeat this for 5~10 minutes, once a day or every other day. In addition, these three acupuncture points can also be moxibustion in addition to massage, and each acupuncture point is suitable for 15~20 minutes.
