Location of hepatic and biliary response areas

Foot reflex area

Schematic diagram of metatarsal position

The hepatic response area is at the basal ganglia of the second, third, and fourth metatarsals on the sole of the right foot to one-half height and extends to the left about one-third below the lateral aspect of the first metatarsal.

The gallbladder is at the lower end of the third and fourth metatarsals on the sole of the right foot, such as the peanut-sized reaction area, in the outer inferior corner of the right kidney.

Massage technique: Hit the massage stick horizontally, press the neck of the rod in the reaction area, and push it from the bottom to the top.  When massaging with bare hands, push from the bottom to the top, or with the crimping method, so that the pathological reaction phenomenon gradually disappears.

When using the massage ball, place the massage ball under the reaction zone, roll forward to the lower edge of the metatarsal basal ganglia, roll back and forth, press forward, and gently pull back. Below the outside of the kidney, the basal ganglia of the third and fourth metatarsals meet is the reaction zone of the gallbladder, which can be pressed at a fixed point in addition to rolling back and forth.

2. Renal response area

A fava bean-shaped reaction zone extending medially at the inferior end of the third metatarsal of the foot, about the size of the abdomen of a large big toe.  Don't press too deeply, and don't straighten the foot back to massage so as not to hurt the hamstrings.

Massage technique: When using the massage stick, push from the bottom to the top, or pull from the top to the bottom.  Operate with the adrenal response zone. When massaging with bare hands, use the push method or the two-hand clasping method to gradually soften and dissipate the reactants.

3. Splenic reaction area

The fourth metatarsal on the sole of the left foot is like a cashew nut near the base, immediately adjacent to the outside of the kidney.

Massage technique: Roll when the massage stick is not stained with oil, and use push when dipping with oil. For freehand massage, use a push or a two-hand crimping technique.

4. Groin lymphatic reaction area

The thin band-like reaction zone between the abdominal lymph and the lymph of the trunk is also the reaction area of the vas deferens fallopian tubes, where there is a horizontal strip between the ankles and ankles.

Massage technique: From the top of the inner and outer malleolus bones, from the bottom to the top, and then along the ankle horizontal stripe from the outside to the front of the inner malleolus, from the outside to the inside, repeatedly push and rub.

Groin lymph, vas deferens and fallopian tubes belong to the same pathological reaction area, and the purpose of dredging groin lymph, vas deferens and fallopian tubes can be achieved by regularly pulling the index finger from the outside to the inside.

5. Trunk lymphatic reaction area

The soft part of the depression in the front of the lateral malleolus bone and the junction of the talus.

Massage technique: Push from top to bottom repeatedly, and you can push the hypertrophied area several times.

Contraindications and precautions: The lymphatic system is composed of lymph glands and lymph nodes, which can produce antibodies, deal with invading bacteria, and have the function of preventing the body from being infected by pathogens. The massage of the lymphatic reaction area should be gentle and slow, and the time should not be too long, so as to avoid tissue swelling, inflammation, and hardening, which will hinder the future massage work.
